PEOPLE CANT PAY FOR A SUBSCRIPTION FOR EVERY SINGLE APP THEY USE IT WOULD COST MORE THAN A MORTGAGE, COMPANIES ARE KILLING THE IPAD WITH ALL THESE SUBSCRIPTIONS, ITS ABIUT TIME IT WASNSORTED OUT, OR AT THE VERY LEAST BAN COMPANIES SAYING FREE TO DOWNLOAD ONLY TO OPEN FOR THE FIRST TIME TO BE GREETED WITH A PAY MONTHY SUBSCRIPTION, ABSOLUTE THIEVES
The contender has finally arrived on the iOS iPad scene. A true godsend to photographers where Adobe Lightroom used to dominate. The options provided are plenty. Photomator allows you more freedom in color grading. The HSL adjustment panel is not exclusive to the entire image alone. Each mask has its own HSL adjustment panel where changing one color’s hue, saturation and lightness affects the selected mask area and not the entire image. Especially great where sunset oranges can be adjusted in a specific area without having the image look like it’s been rummaging in a bag of Cheetos. Each individual mask can have its own lut adjustment or preset. The temperature adjustment controls render a better warmer image and vice versa. Other apps fail to enhance warmth without having images turn yellowish. The upscaling option is more than I can describe. Images are upscaled with ease and minimal quality loss. I was able to turn my old Canon 7D 16 megapixel photos to 45 megapixels. My Canon R5 images magically turn into 60 megapixel wonders. With ease. Two options are currently missing which are Dehaze and the option to choose a rectangular marquee, in which is absent in Lightroom as well. I’m glad I’ve jumped ship and will not renew my Lightroom subscription.
Fantastic app with so many editing capabilities. The new masking adjustment tools are fantastic. Brilliant all round editing app. It would be great if video editing capabilities could be added in the future.
I love this app and have done since it was released. One of those you subscribe too no questions as it’s just that good. BUT recently every time I’m opening a photo from files app it asks for access permissions from root folder. I give it and then the app freezes. It’s doing this on my iPad too. iOS 17.5 iPhone 15 Pro Max 1TB. Please help with a fix. At the moment it’s unusable for me. Thanks.
The only drawback being it’s use of iCloud - which keeps filling up.
Ability to export the before and after version of an image while keeping the crop.
Everything is great, most features you use are included, and they are closely tied with apple‘s hardware, such as the HDR feature. But I have to say, when doing the batch editing, I can not have all SDR photos modified to HDR. I can export them in HDR format such as AVIF, but they are still SDR photos. Don’t know if this is a bug or something, hope you guys can fix it.
It says 700mb but once you download this app your phone memory is magically ballon up to 2gb even more can we somehow resolve this issue like clearing up cash or something pls add some features to help with that. 💁♂️
This app seriously needs a re-do button. Why? Because the undo button is situated right next to the reset button, meaning if you press the reset button by accident, you've lost all your work for that session and have to start all over again, or hope you saved it before the mishap. This would be easily solved with a re-do button giving you an escape from disaster. WHY ISN'T THERE AN UNDO BUTTON? 🥴
It says the app is just over 700mb, which is a lot anyway. But then mine has just ballooned to over 2GB. I keep having to reinstall it to get a bit of space back, there should be something built into the app where users can clear unused files.
