Solid app one of the best out there

I wish they would include a wait feature

Many shortfalls. Doesn’t track accuracy of timing for one.

Love this app!

I love how the lessons are approachable and easy to follow. I can see how I’m progressing in my learning and can learn on my own schedule. The developers are very responsive too. Highly recommend this to anyone wishing to learn piano.

I’ve learned 2 octave scales in 1 minute there are good songs you can play and learning really fast if your a beginner but the one thing is do you have to pay? Thanks for teaching me. I think play ground sessions is better then yousishen

A lot of fun!

I really love this app. I do have a bit of experience in piano. I’m not sure how it would be for an adult beginner but it has a great song library and I enjoy going through the courses for a refresher. It’s just a great way to make music. I’m addicted to it. So fun!

App changes sound of digital piano keys

When connected to the app the sound of my Yamaha digital piano changes and is not the same quality when the piano is not connected. This only occurs when using the playground sessions app. When not connected to playground sessions, the sound quality is normal. Other apps do not have this problem, the Yamaha pianist app works perfectly and does not change the sound of the keys to a low quality poor sound.

Good teaching method but buggy software

As an adult beginner, I like Playground Sessions for its teaching approach and its app features. However, the app could not run properly on my iPad Pro. 1. It sometimes does not recognize the MIDI cable connection. 2. It sometimes does not recognize my correct play, marking all errors. 3. It does not show the performance score sometimes. Very frustration. I won’t subscribe to it after the 7 day trial. The developer needs to fix all these issues ASAP before losing more customers.

Bad app

The app is a pain to use, there are a ton of bugs. The timing is just off sometimes in the backing tracks... I'd say it’s got potential, but it’s been around for years now and they haven't fixed simple bugs and interface issues. They don’t seem to care.
