However - the. Reporting tools for investments, especially the charts are horrendous. They do not work. There are frequent shelf like drops in investment values that are not reflected in the markets. The drops are mirrored in the initial investment amount showing that it is an error in the Plum system, rather than any reflection in the performance of my investments. But 1 star isn’t for the trading it’s for how slow they act moving your money around, even when cancelling automatic payment they still take no customer services to talk to just ai chat that helps none. Eventually I gave up after the AI tech support bot was no help. And then a sneaky £10 was taken out of my bank account (so they clearly were connected somehow) for a ‘premium’ subscription that I apparently had a free trial for. I do not recall starting a free trial or giving permission for this, it seemed to sign me up for a free month and then charge my card for future months. Not even sure what the benefit of premium was. It’s been great because of its ease of use: you can micromanage if you wish, or completely automate and set and forget. But here’s the problem. You leave that money in long enough and accumulate enough wealth - and you no longer want to use these guys because of the poor service and support. It’s not fit for purpose when it comes to substantial sums of money. When you’ve got nearly 50k in with these guys but are still getting £50 support it makes you feel pretty nervous. I’ve been waiting days to hear from the ‘wealth management team’ to find out where a large amount of money currently is in their system. Two days - heard nothing. Use proper long term investment services for serious investments. These guys a fun for chucking a couple of £100 around in - no more.
