Useless scam

I’m signed in with my library card but it keeps asking me to pay for content I should be getting for free.

Used to be good

Doesn’t work with libraries. Tells me it’s connected to the library but won’t let me view

Stopped working after update

This was great. I accessed through my local library. This morning this has stopped working - right after yesterday’s update. Not sure what I can do now….. UPDATE -well, whatever the problem was it corrected itself so I am back to being a happy customer. My only gripe is that these glitches do happen from time to time which can be frustrating.

Great app, but need a way to manage storage

I use this app a lot, but have noticed that the data storage taken by the app quickly builds up to tens of GB on my iPad. The only way I've found to manage the storage and clear out no-longer-needed downloaded publications, is to delete the app then reinstall it. It would be good to have a method of deleting downloaded publications within the app.

Great app but

Asking me if I want to turn notifications on EVERY time I open the app is really annoying

Waste of time

Press-reader use to be so much better, you subscribed to press-reader and got lots of conde Naste magazines, uk national and international news papers, celeb magazines but now you have to subscribe & pay subscription to the each individual magazines £10.00 each you might as well just go & buy it in the shop what a con.

Terrible app

Worked for a couple of days using local library account for a 30 day access. Now it won’t let me in. Asks me to create a new account, so I use my email address, input name and a password (12 chars, capitals, lower case, numbers and symbols, as required), returns with an invalid password message. No explanation. Forgotten password to email address results in no communication. Has anyone responsible for setting this app up road tested it? I suspect not thoroughly enough. Poor!!

It deserves high praise for its convenience

With this app, you can access a vast collection of newspapers, magazines, and other printed publications from all over the world. The intuitive interface makes it as easy and convenient as possible to search for and read information.

Buggy update problem

An update led to the auto update feature no longer working. They fixed it but have done it in such a way that the update cannot be used with the iOS that my iPhone uses. When I contact them, all they say is update the app, even though I’ve pointed out to them that I can’t do that.

Where have all the magazines gone???

I have library access and all the regular uk & international magazines have disappeared, leaving only newspapers and newspaper magazine supplements… what’s going on? Is it a permanent change or a glitch?
