Needs bugs fixing

When it works the PrintMaker is great but the app is glitchy and I mostly have problems connecting the device. So frustrating for an item that wasn’t cheap.

So this device is a great idea, but sadly since I’ve had mine both the app and device have been absolutely plagued by problems/glitches/bugs…. Whatever you want to call them! I’ve barely been able to use my printmaker effectively since getting it as when I go to use it, it’s ok to start off, but then bam… problems galore…. It tells me my battery is critically low, when it’s fully charged, ink cover is open when it’s not, the canvas is awful to design on - fonts don’t show up, items from the downloadable design packs won’t send to canvas, and if it does, it’s either misaligned or bits missing or doesn’t actually print how it’s supposed to - ends up with a different style font to what it should be, the things I want to print won’t actually send to printer… it gets stuck in an endless loop, there’s many more problems I have but it will take ages to list them all here… upon research it seems my issues are not isolated - loads of others have had the same or similar problems… Looking at the app history here it’s not been updated or fixed since October 2021…. Not sure what the app developers are thinking by not fixing the issues…. Very disappointing to say the least and quite surprising considering the stature of the companies involved in this machine - American Crafts & HP!!! I spent £100’s on this device and all the accessories only for it all to be rendered pretty much useless 😡

I never write a bad review unless is that bad, this printer idea is amazing but its lacking on a lot of things, starting by the app that you can only use it horizontally. Ok I Will survive, I have a hard time editing my text and adjusting the size if I make a tiny mistake my text or image is gone, I couldn’t save a project correctly and I see it but I cannot open it, now the Printer shows in my bluetooth section as “connected” but the app says not connecting and nothing appears, I cannot even use the printer now!!!! I wish I can get my full refund but my return window expired. Almost $100 to the garbage - this company needs to get it together.

I’ve tried everything to get my printer to connect and nothing. What am I doing wrong?????

I absolutely love this, I even bought all the accessories. I love all the options they have.

Since it is made by HP they are looking to get sued again you are in contempt of a court order to allow the ink to keep running no matter the excuses

I purchased this little printer from HSN during one of their craft events some time ago. Before that, I had purchased the Colop ePrinter. It was worse than the PrintMaker printer. I have several of the accessories, which should help, but don’t seem to do the job. I have very bad experience with printing anything. Now, they are offering yet another version of this type of printer on HSN. I’ve learned my lesson and didn’t buy the latest one. Hundreds of dollars wasted.

I love my mini printer, I think it’s such a great tool…BUT… this app certainly NEEDS to improve, I never get to customize because the app freezes and I have to restart it again, and the tools are challenging to work with… it only works the best whenever you use their collection… some are free but the majority you have to pay 2.99, it really does not bother me to use their collection, they have great stuff, my concern is customizing… it just does not work for me, the app keeps freezing every single time I want to create my own stuff.. I use my mini printer constantly since I love to bible journal, and just junk journal in general but its really a challenge to use this app.

Also can you give access for us to use it on portrait mode. Otherwise great app and cool little tool. Wish it could do more than 1inch wide.
