Brother Artspira

When I try to download an embroidery design I repeatedly get an error message saying my device is not connected to the network when it is. I have reloaded the app still the same error. The app is therefore unusable. Very disappointed. I know from Facebook sewing groups that others are having the same issue. The app is not very intuitive to use either. Just a useless marketing tool to get people to buy WiFi enabled machines, which don’t work

The free art is terrible it’s like word art from the 90’s and if you buy some proper art work you can’t join it on a canvas. I don’t see the point in this software. It’s certainly not worth £10 a month !

I dowmloaded this on advice from Uniqlo as they use the embroidery machines in store. She loves art and this would be an amazing app for her to make designs that could be embroided into clothes. For some stupid reason this won’t work on her iPad as being a child’s it has content restrictions I have no idea why this is restricted to 17+, it makes no senses

Loving ARTSPIRE, so far have created an embroidery design for a puffy jacket and my art apron. So much choice and easy to use. Brilliant at transferring directly to my BROTHER INNOVIS NV880E Embroidery machine. Can’t wait to see what else I can create. Thank you

I can only use your preloaded designs which are quite basic, most people who own these expensive machine are bit more advance than these preloaded simple designs. I think this would be much better if users could load there own designs and send them from the phones, iPads, etc. this needs a vast upgrade.

This app works very well for transferring designs to my embroidery machine. The technology works perfectly. What is badly lacking is the actual design interface. You need to know that it is extremely rudimental. It’s missing many features you would expect to see in a basic design editor. One is that there is no way to copy and paste or duplicate an element in your design. If you add an image and want more than one you will have to go look for it in the catalog again instead of easily duplicating what is already on your screen. Another shocking omission is that there is no way to draw a straight line in the drawing feature. There are many shapes to choose from but no straight line. I signed up for the paid subscription to unlock the additional features but will not be continuing with it unless some improvements are made.

I bought a brother se600 having in mind that I can used Artspira for create my own designs and downloaded on usb drive but for my surprise I can’t do it. It didn’t function at all.

The lack of ability to local save your designs is a huge downside. It means you don’t own the content you create, and if you have a machine that does not have a wireless feature, you’re out of luck. This software could truly be groundbreaking with its ease of use, but it’s unusable for my se600. Any other app I use with a subscription has the ability to save to your device.

The amount of restrictions in the software make creating a print job complicated and difficult. Too many restrictions for a pro. Cannot upload a file other than a JPEG, in order to adjust size you have to continuously click the plus button, several times my image transferred crooked
