Overall a good app but…
If you use a zhiyun smooth 5s the app has not been pptimized for its use. Also I noticed that the video record will have glitch if you connect a gimbal an use a wireless monitor within the app. I believe the app still doesnt handle this particular situation which is a shame same the structure and tools of the app are very useful. Hopefully Protake solves this issue 🙏🏻
Support?
How can the support be reached? Link takes me somewhere else, website cannot be found. I have problems setting up the system with a monitor device. I am using the App in its pro version on IOS. I have an iPad which I want to use as a monitor. Both devices in the WLAN. iPad shows signal strength, iPhone does not. Is it an IP issue? How can it be changed? I am pretty frustrated as this features is actually a decision maker for the app which is currently massively limited.
Audio-Monitoring missing
I would love this app, but audio-monitoring is missing (live-audio via headphones while filming). This is so important. The rest of the app is perfect!
Kein Fokus, und immer wieder Abstürze
Ich habe die App als Alternative zu FilmicPro getestet und bin nicht richtig zufrieden. Ich vermisse sehr die Möglichkeit, Fokus und Belichtung an einem Punkt auf dem Bild auszurichten. Stattdessen muss man hier die Einstellung manuell vornehmen, was viel schwieriger ist und länger dauert. Was mich noch mehr ärgert: Die App stürzt immer wieder ab und meldet dann, dass die Einstellungen resettet werden. Dann startet die App neu und man muss alle Einstellungen erneut vornehmen, was Zeit kostet und das Risiko birgt, eine Einstellung zu vergessen. Auch bleibt der Zeitzähler bei der Aufnahme immer wieder stehen, was nicht gerade vertrauenserweckend ist. Ich habe das 1-Jahres-Abo abgeschlossen und hoffe auf Verbesserungen.
Lieblings-Camapp mit Mankos
Schönste Pro-Video-App im Store, aber leider nicht ohne Mankos. Vereinzelte Frameratedrops, keine Mirror-Funktion bei vertikaler Aufnahme, nicht funktionierender Filterdownload, usw. Deshalb aktuell nur bedingt zu empfehlen! Und leider erhalte ich auf meine Bugreports auch keine Antwort. Jedoch sind das Interface und die Bedienung mit Abstand die besten aller Konkurrenten. EDIT: Läuft seit dem neuesten stabiler. Vor allem auch die Mirror-Funktion. Leider funktioniert der Cinematic Looks Filter-Download immer noch nicht. BITTE fixen!
Viel Geld für Durchschnittliche App
Die App macht, nicht immer, wofür sie da ist. Von der Bedienung seeehr gewöhnungsbedürftig. Sehr oft Framedrops! Ich bleibe bei FilmicPro. Benutze ich seit ca. 5 Jahren. Einfach um Klassen besser und muss vor allem nicht in einem f……ng Abo jedes Jahr neu bezahlt werden obwohl sie ständig weiter entwickelt wird! Ein Abonnement für eine KameraApp ist komplette Abzocke!
Are you kidding me ???
Had a yearly subscription running for PRO which was working fine. Was in an airplane weeks later, trying to take some videos of sunset over the clouds. Protake had for no reason all functions disabled, wanting me to sign in again to restore subscription, which is of course not possible in flight mode …. Are you -insert f-word- kidding me??? Luckily I still had FilmicPro installed to take the videos.. INSTAND DELETE OF PROTAKE and banned for life from my iPhone .. would like to give -10 stars
Missing frame rates for 12 mini back cameras
I prefer this app over Filmic Pro due to the interface, but it has had a bug that I reported to them multiple times now and still hasn't been fixed. Higher frame rates are, for some reason, not available on the back cameras. 4K60, 1080p120, and 1080p240 are all unavailable. However, if I change to the front camera, they become available to use. It's obviously a bug that the developers refuse to address. All other pro camera apps as well as the built-in camera can use these frame rates as well. If it weren't for this bug and the developers' refusal to fix it, this app would be a 4-5 star app for sure!
Kit does not download
Unfortunately the color kits don’t download for some reason, although I love the video quality, features and ease of use. Can’t find a customer’s service contact.
