What others say about Proton:
“Proton has now made it stupid-easy to encrypt your schedule. Information about what you plan to do, where, and with whom, can be just as sensitive as the messages you send and receive.” Gizmodo

How much does Proton Calendar cost?
Proton Calendar has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is 2,740.00 č.
Most calendar apps are already not meeting my requirements but this one completely misses for me. There’s no option to set the default values for new events, make templates or at least fully disable e-mail notifications. There isn’t even an option for an e-mail notification to disable, I have to open up each event, open the reminder option, go back and save the event and that somehow makes it go away.
Getting better and better
Honestly, there's still many things left, but the app is getting better and better every month. Please, keep going!
Not anyway near to usable
I love proton aps, but this is simply very inconvenient. When you have open month views I would expect to long press on any date will open create new event dialogue, but it does nothing. Similarly sad is when you click on any day it open that day (I would expect this) but in 24.00 mode - so you need to scroll to see if you gave anything planned for let's say 5 pm. I suggest to open day view at 7.00 or 8.00 do you don't have to scroll to see evening.
offline functionality missing
It might be great app, should there be one little thing added. Offline work. It would be great if one can create new entries or modify existing ones offline, for example on the plane or simply off the grid.
Widgets, please!
I recently started my switch from the Google & Apple digital ecosystems to Proton, but one thing I'm really missing is calendar widgets to add to the home screen. I would be willing to help in developing these, but as I understand it, unlike other apps from Proton, the calendar app is unfortunately not open source (yet?).
It gets better
Solid calendar app with basic functionalities. I miss optimization for iPad and ability to visually distinguish events by colors. Direct access to event detail from the month view would be great too (it goes though the day view now). Looking forward for future improvements.
Not optimized for apple ipad
Please optimize this app for ipad. I want to be able to show widgets and many more things. Also there is now more uses for calendar in ipados and this is totaly missing.
Missing widget
The app is continuously improving, which is a great achievement, but the crucial thing that is still missing in my opinion is a widget, the possibility of a monthly widget, weekly, etc. Similar to the native calendar in iOS.
Wohoo
Exited to see proton calendar finally in the ApStore!
I would love to see widgets in future updates,so I can conveniently replace the Apple calendar entirely
Again
Release of a product or app with very little features. Pretty much unusable at this point. Why even release something so barebones.
