I love Proton's services, but the Proton Calendar iOS app is just too buggy and incomplete. Go to settings and you'll find a total of 2 settings related to calendar. If you want to edit anything useful in settings, log in on the web. About the bugs, I try to create an event, and it says "Error creating event: Event encryption failed." I mean, what am I supposed to do about it? Also when I click "Edit" on my calendar, the app crashes. In conclusion, this is a great app, if it was fully functional.

Still cannot edit events I’m invited to…. The functionality is in the web app, it should also be in the native app by now. You cannot even delete them or change the notifications, come on!!

It’s a very barebones app. The basics work well. Biggest lacking feature is the ability to open .ics files. Really? No .ics? Can’t open calendar events from ProtonMail. It also has no widgets, no Apple Watch app. Before you develop a crypto wallet, how about you develop a fully featured calendar app. How about you add the long awaited contacts sync? How about you improve the seamlessness between ProtonDrive and ProtonMail? How about you develop a Linux client for ProtonDrive? Get your priorities straight!

I love using proton services. But tbh the app loading and decrypting time is to long to make this app useful. Making a quick appointment is almost impossible on iPhone 12 Pro Max. Also after showing decryption is done. Not al agendas are loaded and will take more time for that. Loading must somehow always be done every time I open the app. I did wipe the cache and reinstalled the app for couple times. Did not help. Sorry

I am a proton addict but the calendar was not developed enough a year ago. I tried it again this weekend (July 14th) but it still is not enough. The view on the ipad is just straight ugly, and on the iphone: mwah. Furthermore: I miss the integration with birthdays of contacts. Back to Apple’s calendar. I’ll try again a year later.

We need a full screen’s week overview. Till then it is unusable, since when making an appoitment you just need a very fast overview. I asked before…

The calendar works fine and there is a kind of week view. But in week view mode you don’t see the whole day, you have to scroll down to see if you have something scheduled. So it is unusable.

We still can't change the calendar for an event, but you brought colors?? 🤦 Like, seriously? You need to get your priorities straight.
