What others say about Proton:
“Proton has now made it stupid-easy to encrypt your schedule. Information about what you plan to do, where, and with whom, can be just as sensitive as the messages you send and receive.” Gizmodo

How much does Proton Calendar cost?
Proton Calendar has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is €124.99.
very intuitive interface, e2ee. Though, almost useless without internet connection: you can see created events, but cannot add new ones. After not being able to quickly add an event several times because the connection was down, I’ve given up and returned to standard calendar
No widgets
Very usable app, I only wish it had widgets ☹️
Huge disappointment
I’ve missed meetings because the app’s reminders don’t work.

Thank You for Dark Icon
As promised, rating restored to 5 stars now that dark mode icons are available. I’m not a developer, but this kind of update from a consumer felt like it took way too long.
Oh, the app? Fantastic. Other calendars should take notes.
Thank you for adding new features
I love that the team listens to customer feedback
Lacks functions and widgets
I see a lot of the functions I want have already been reported like calendar invite mgmt and scrolling through each single minute to set a time. My biggest problem is with the absence of widgets. I need a visualization on the homepage. See Google's app on android, but it doesn't translate to iphone. The calendar app named Across does all of this, and I just bought it. Now I regret paying the 2 years subscription for proton. Can you guys just buy the app Across and incorporate it into your secure programs? 😂😂😂
Needs work
You should be able to delete events on the calendar from the app. Found out today I had to open Proton Calendar in the browser to delete a recurring invite that I declined.
Can’t Change Overall Time Zone
I like the app but it won’t allow me to change the overall time zone. It only allows me to change it for each individual event.
Proof of Concept, Not Primary Calendar
Update: C’mon Proton, couldn’t care less about changing the icon shade - we’re still unable to change shared calendars, subscriptions, iPad is useless, and so much more on the app mentioned in other reviews. Email is great, Drive regularly improving, VPN is terrific, but with calendar being still at a proof of concept stage you’re forcing us to use Gmail and Apple. Kids and wife won’t switch because of considerable shortcomings. Please don’t respond with ‘we’re planning’ or ‘ you’ll pass it on’… tired of that. Just do it. BTW, been a multi-account subscriber since inception and considering moving my company (37 employees) to you, but Calendar has stopped consideration.
Details of the app’s shortcomings are detailed in other reviews. The lack of flexibility, options, and time zone settings make this unreliable as a primary calendar. Note, I’ve been a paying subscriber since inception. Email is unparalleled.
