I never start my day without my morning Readwise highlight reviews. This is the best.
I’ve been using Readwise (paid) for around three years. I can still retain major points from obscure books I read three years ago. You could do the same thing by highlighting the book and manually reviewing flash cards. But the ease that Readwise brings to the whole process of book review is absolutely worth the cost of the subscription. I’m not associated with the business at all, but I’ve already promoted this product to anyone I know who’s an avid book reader. Highly recommend!
It would be lovely if the “add highlight by photo” feature was able to automatically select the text you highlighted on the page. Also if there was a way to quickly bulk add highlights from your paper books. Another request: Give me more notifications to keep my streak
I find the major flaw of readwise to be you don’t get any context for your highlights. The only way to do that would be to highlight an entire paragraph, and that seems like a silly idea.
I stumbled across this app on my way back to my reading journey. And I absolutely loved it! I loved that my highlights of all my favorite books were under one roof. If you love reading and love to be reminded of you most favorite books quotes this is the app for you!!
I use it everyday and I find it very useful. I have told about it to many friends of mine.
I used the free trial for a while and then stopped, trying to take notes on my own. Signed back up after a couple of months. It not only helps me remember what I’ve read but the habit of reviewing past works motivates me to read more today. It seems a bit pricey for what it is, but I feel like it’s worth it if I use it every day.
In order to continually build and grow as individuals that is important to reflect on which we already know. This app and the companion reader app work phenomenally well and helping me accomplish this.
Readwise has pretty much become my all-in-one app for highlights, note taking, review, and reference for writing. And with the convenience of the ability to create tags, this has been my go-to and I imagine it will be as far as I can imagine since it keeps getting better and better.
I don’t think it worths the money I am paying every month
