Cant find an easy way to manage (add/delete) feeds in folders

I don’t get it

Erik253 on

Netherlands

I am not sure what the added value of the new Reeder is compared to the "Classic". Certainly not a step forward, and not suited as an RSS reader.

Mark as read

I can’t delete anything from the list, can I? Where is the ‘Mark as read’ toggle?

Needs more options

jorisbr on

Netherlands

Pretty good so far, but it needs more options to customize display options like Reeder 5. I really miss the option to remove the article image and shorten the paragraph text. Changing the relative time to absolute would be good to have as well.

Great app, but disappointed with subscription model

Giovanni de Vries on

Netherlands

I’ve been a long-time user of Reeder 4, which I purchased back when it was a one-time payment. It’s an excellent app for reading RSS feeds, with a clean interface and great functionality. However, I’m disappointed that the new version is tied to a subscription model. While I don’t mind paying to upgrade, I strongly prefer a one-time payment option for apps like this. Unfortunately, because of the subscription approach, I won’t be upgrading to the latest version. I’ll continue using Reeder 4 as long as possible, but it’s disappointing to see this shift. Hopefully, future versions will offer more flexible payment options.

Missing code blocks in markdown

Docmeir on

United States

Would love to use this but it doesn’t support code blocks in markdown when reading articles. So basically any technical articles are a no go. Willing to try once that is added. Nice lay out and like the idea or purpose of the app though.

Bluesky functionality is extremely unreliable

jordanekay on

United States

My Bluesky following feed has not fetched new items in 2 days. And there are certain people’s accounts I have added that are unable to fetch any items in them at all. Please fix this issue.

Not for me

This is not what I want in an ‘RSS’ reader.

Three issues

whiny little b**** on

United States

1. Why is swiping away an image so hard? Please make it more sensitive. 2. Also, when in article view, there’s no way to view it in browser unless you use share sheet (which is 2-3 taps) or scroll back up and tap the article title. There needs to be another way to view an article in browser when you’re at the bottom of the said article. 3. Fetching new items takes forever. Not good. One star until fixed. Thank you.

I get it now

CaramelBeard on

United States

I’ve been a long time user of Reeder and I’ll admit that I was disappointed when this was released. I just wanted an updated RSS feed reader and I thought the dev lost their way with this release. I spent the last year cutting back and cutting down on the sites/services that I’ve been using and this app is a great tool in siloing and consuming the stuff I decided to keep… All it needs now is a “pure” black mode for mobile.
