40% price increase in 1 year!!!

I’ve been a loyal user of this app since 2014. It does what it’s supposed to do in an elegant and efficient way. However, I’ve just heard that my Pro membership will increase from £29.99 to £41.99. Unfortunately, my income hasn’t gone up by the same amount. 🙁

Love this app

It has saved my organisational life on many more than one occasion. My only gripe is: why can’t we connect to iCloud or OneDrive accounts? Why only Dropbox or Google? This one change would make 5 rather than 4 ½ stars!

Essential app

W.Hern on

I have been a user of RTM for over a decade. The apps on the iPad and iPhone are an essential component of my daily workflow.

Great..starting to lack in areas that others are evolving in

Orijan on

Keep coming back to this as powerful under the hood, but due to lack of feature updates it is in danger of being left behind the other task managers that are progressing in functionality.

Shocking customer service

AEB_77 on

Brought the app £29.00 (fairly expensive!) logged in but it doesn’t acknowledge my “pro” subscription so only limited access. Emailed the company - they are on holiday until the 9th January!!!!!!!!! So you have my money, I can’t access the pro elements & I’ll have to wait a week before someone might respond to me!

Love this app

Still a few bugs like in custom sorting with items from Evernote appearing as “other”

The best To Do app

Mooch boy on

I’ve tried lots of apps (Todoist, Things, etc), but this one has a great layout. I like the separate screens instead of pop-ups, the easy note section and the way subtasks are handled. It may look slightly dated but it works and is solid. No need to change things just for the sake of it. Notifications are reliable. I don’t mind the cow logo (or monkey). Keeps me organised. Great stuff!

Brilliant except for the lack of a calendar view

This is an amazing app which allows you to keep track of your to-dos in all sorts of patterns. I was using a simpler program which had no time function, so I was simply landed with 60 to-dos every morning, and no way of judging if I was over-scheduled or anything other than simple sorting. This allows the setting of start and end times, grouping similar tasks in more than one way, and I can create smart-lists which will allow me to see a morning’s worth of tasks and not be overwhelmed. It’ll also allow you to enter time estimates so you can see instantly if you are over scheduled. With the pro version you can break tasks down into sub tasks, which with severe dyspraxia is amazing. I have so much trouble with things like laundry because I’m so absent-minded: I forget where I got to all the time, and abandon clothes in the washing machine for a week and things like that, and this allows me to keep track in numbered steps over several days. It will both schedule in a very sophisticated way (specific time for things) and repeat after a certain length of time from last completion, so it is good for both scheduling my study and for housework. It also has tags and all the extra sorting functions that go along with that, though there could be a slightly better range of colours (there’s no black and a lot of them are rather washed out). And it is amazingly easy to enter things, as you can either use a sort of coding while typing, or there are drop down lists, and you can email tasks straight in. There are a few cons. One is completely subjective: there is a bit of a learning curve. Having said, it is the sort of program where you don’t have to use the complicated features if you don’t want them - though it probably isn’t worth paying for pro if you don’t. (It is completely functional in the free version, and I felt they had been quite generous with the number of features available. While it is expensive, I’d quite happily have paid 30 quid for a particularly good paper diary - I just find organisation so important and so difficult). The visual interface is also not as easy as I’d like: the text size doesn’t go up very far and if you can adjust things like the contrast independently I haven’t worked out how to do it. It isn’t bad but it could be better. (I have dyspraxia to the point of cortical visual impairment though, so this may well not be a noticeable issue for most people). The main problem, however, is the complete lack - as far as I can m

An oldie but a goodie - desperately needs new icon though

JayOh73 on

The app functionality is amazing: everything needed, nothing that isn’t. GUI wise it’s maybe a little dated... just a little, certainly not enough to kill it - tbh it’s such a solid app it can afford that. But the icon? Induces chills every time I see it on my Home Screen. I can replace it on desktop, but I can’t on iOS. I suspect it’s a devs in joke, a bit of humour, but for gods sake drop it or give us some in app options to change it. My phone is my personal device, and it rankles to have a sense of humour I really don’t share on my Home Screen every time I unlock it.

You cannot even try the app, to see if it’s worthy, without creating a log in.
