Doesn’t control screen usage

The app work on some of my kids phone and not in other ones. Doesn’t control the screen time . It’s really frustrating why works on one device and not in another

Not for iPhone

Useless! Went back to using Apple’ own Downtime. Do not contact me, I will not change my mind.

Works then doesn’t

Worked for <day then stopped tracking activities. Worse, it seems to slow browsing down on apps that are allowed to the point the internet is unusable. Also pauses device for screen time rules when it’s *inside* the allowed time. App written by the work experience guy with no effort to improve or even maintain.

Not intuitive poorly configured to setup

It’s not great. It’s not intuitive especially the calendar setup. These apps are a very hard sell with your kids so when you agree time and dates it needs to be right. I’m not sure if I’m selecting a day or deselecting it. When you load a time you hit save nothing changes. You have to hit the AM time to get the PM time to load and then hit save for it to load. I find it very poorly configured and confusing.

Not for iPhones

App sounded great, useless on iPhones however. Unless the app is open on the child’s phone continuously, the location tracking does not work. Having the app open drains the battery in half a day (iPhone SE 2020) App age restrictions couldn't be changed from the original install and no monitoring whatsoever was available. Tried it for a few months with the Optus plan but I’m glad I didn’t pay for it. Deleted the configuration profile and app from the kids phone quite easily with no input from the parents phone whatsoever when I decided I’d had enough. Wouldn’t recommended paying for this on IOS.

App does not work.

This App does not work, I have it installed on multiple iOS devices and it continually crashes and does not activate settings on the Children’s iPhones. A pointless purchase!

Point of view as a child

Coming from a child it might seem like I’m annoyed because of downtime but the truth is this app block everything all my apps vanish and do not return unless my mum does this long process. This have become a big problem because I have to other sisters that use this app and the have the same issues. My mum is now thinking of disabling the account and now I’m worried that even if she does these issues will keep on happening. This app has caused more issues then it was supposed to help with.

Malfunction

This product has the right idea but on Apple it randomly deletes and reinstalls apps and some that you didn’t even have before. It will randomly take everything out of folders and scatter all apps across the pages. It does this once or twice a day.

More Trouble Than It’s Worth

This app does not work as promised and has become so frustrating. I am trying to give it a chance hoping for improvement. I tried to download on a second device of my child’s but could not proceed as the app wanted permission from me but there was no way to move forward to give it.

McAfee promises so much delivers so little for iOS

This app simply does not work of Apple products. It crashes CONTINUALLY to the point where you will take 10 mins simply to try and change any restrictions you wish to have on your children’s devices (it crashes in seconds after opening it)On iOS you cannot track movement or location and it crashes so quickly (within 10 seconds of opening the app) that there is no ability to regulate anything. This came as a complimentary download with our Optus Plan but they would be better not to even offer it on iOS devices. Just a complete disappointment. *Update. The developer got in touch and after going through the issues I had been having the latest update has made the app more useable and it no longer crashes.
