How much does Sensate cost?
Sensate has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is CHF 49.00.
When I got the Sensate there were quit some tracks available. Since then they started to use a subscription based money grabbing model.
The Sensate itself is very expensive and not this greedy company tries to get even more money. Soon I’m sure the machine can nog be used anymore without paying recurrent costs.
Greed really is a shame.
Nothing but stress
I bought the Sensate device with the one year Pro subscription but here I am 3 months later and I still am unable to use it. I keep reaching out but it’s been weeks now and no more replies. I guess the company doesn’t care since they already have my money. It’s a strange twist that the device I bought to help relieve anxiety has caused me nothing but stress and frustration.
Hot garbage
Supposed to help stress, but all it’s been doing is stressing me out! Won’t work! PLEASE BETTA TEXT BEFORE UPDATING, WE SPENT ALOT OF MONEY ON THESE, THEY SHOULD ALWAYS WORK! Soooooooo disappointed
How can you relax when you can’t download?
The tracks I want will not download. I have started and restarted more times than not! So frustrating.
Really disappointing
After paying hundreds of dollars for the device that can be manufactured for about $20, I found that most of the “music” required to use it is locked behind a subscription service. Absolute garbage! I feel swindled
Love the device but the app is horrible
I’m conflicted on how many stars to give here because the device is amazing. I’ve been interested in and researching vagus nerve stimulation for a few years now and finding amazing results with the gargling chanting gagging singing (Google it) and this device I feel if used 2-3 times a day for me is giving me good results without having to remember to gargle etc. results being happier more joyful feeling, less anxiety, better focus, better digestion. HOWEVER, the app is horrible. I actually don’t like any of their tracks and some actually sound like what nightmares are made of with high pitched voices crying or train track noises or just chanting. There are very limited tracks, in several categories you have to navigate through and when you find one you can tolerate, there’s no way to favorite it so you can find it easily again. Also 99% of them are only 10 minutes and I prefer longer. I have my meditation tracks I love from various apps and feel if I could use this device paired with those I could get deeper and better results for sure, but they don’t allow that. I feel paying $350 for this, it would be nice if I could have the freedom to use it with what tracks I want. PLEASE please don’t limit us to your horrible tracks to use this! I would pay MORE money to use it with my own music meditations to help myself further, isn’t that what this is about?! Helping people feel better? Please allow us to use this how each individual could benefit.
Good gizmo for longcovid
I use this to help my messed up vagus nerve from longcovid. It helps.
Slow and limited
I don’t understand why it takes so long to “load” an already downloaded track to use. When I am fortunate enough to sneak away for half an hour to use the app, I’d like my time to go toward improving my mental health, not further stressing it.
Beyond that, the track categories are unhelpful and obtuse. I would find it much more useful if they were listed by certain intended outcomes or states of mind like: healthy digestion, easing anxiety, calming the mind, letting go, gaining focus, improving energy, winding down, etc.
So easy
I’ve had my Sensate for several years and it is used twice a day every day! I have never had an issue until this weekend when I updated. I had difficulty and sent a message to the sensate team. The response ans solution was in my inbox this morning. So easy to fix the problem😎
Terrible Functionality/Pay to Play Features
After spending over $300 on the device, you’re forced to subscribe annually to utilize the majority of its features through its faulty and invasive app. Too bad- this seemed like a great concept, albeit expensive investment upon its launch. Seems like a scam now.
