Simplenote

I had delete the app due to the following reason: - the widget didn’t have other theme - boring font style - cannot customize background

Recently there was an update on this app & had it done rightaway. However I wasn’t able to get into the app, I just got kicked out & not able to see the page where I normally enterred my password. May I know what’s the cause of it? P/S: I suddenly got a warning that there’s a data breachs & needed to change my password. This is dangerous isn’t it? I changed it right away on my pc because I’m not able to use simplenote note on my iphone.

Simple and comfy to use. No images or fancy functions which always distract us. Only texts, the same original format as we do journaling on papers.

Have you ever been looking an app just to keep your precious text? I mean, who needs a full featured app if you just need one that could keep your notes, to-do lists synced for free! If you’re a heavy note writer, Simplenote also provide tagging on notes, and it’s search functionality is powerful. Light in storage, and really delivers the best experince of a minimal note taking app.

I love using it and it’s easy to access and can easily share notes to all platforms As a programmer , I can access my code from all of my devices whenever I need them It would be helpful if there is an option to connect with clouds like GitHub, google cloud etc.

Gave 4 stars then decided to give 5 Why only 4? Love the online publishing function but short of 5 because I would love the see adding images as part of it. Then realise that I may have missed out some details that have been yet explored so I have given 5 stars in anticipation of adding images to my notes and have them published online. Just imagine that one could add css to the markdown then it would be the fastest and simplest route to making websites eg. Articles and books. So much potential for so simple a function as notes.

Been using this for years. The sync engine is fast and reliable.

I’ve been using Simplenote for some time now and I absolutely benefit from its simple and easy interface, and sync ability over several platforms. High recommended for note taking, simple straight up without all the frills and the style formatting. However, only twice of the many times I’ve use it that I’ve encountered a challenge - what ever I typed in the app through the phone wasn’t synced to the web app and app on iPad and the version on my phone reverted to the unsynced version. This clearly forced me to recollect my thoughts and retype what ever was lost. I hope this I could get an explaination for this with hopes to avoid similar occurrences. Nevertheless, its cool feature of enabling live co-authoring and recovery by timeline really redefines classing note taking. Recommended.
