Free yet Elegant
I have used many note taking applications out there, yes including the paid models and subscription models, but this is still the best note taking app for me because
1. Free
2. Cross platform
Also In the future, I hope you support these extra functionalities for the shortcuts, find note (maybe from their title) and append to note.
Useful Notes. But
Better to have at least folders to organize your notes, not just by tag.
SEEKS FOR IMPROVEMENT
Hi there! I like Simplenote since it’s kinda minimalist. However, It would be better you we can add photos and you can organise each notes with folders. ♡
My Go-to Note-taking App
The apple notes app has become somewhat too complicated for me to have some quick notes. I would not remove the default one but Simplenotes will always be my go to notetaking because its simple and user friendly.
perfect
really simple... just the way you need for your to do notes
Convenient
A simple and helpful note taking app. I'm using this with phone and laptop. It's pretty helpful when it syncs my notes fast from my laptop to my phone. Definitely one of the simple but best note taking apps for me.
Lives up to its name
Simple, but has just the right number of essential note-taking features, such as formatting, etc. The note history function/restore is a winner. Simplenote has been my go-to note app for the longest time, and I've tried them all. This one's a keeper.
Almost perfect for my needs
I’ve been looking for a simple cross-platform note-taking app for a long time. I’ve always look past Simplenote before because I thought that it’s too plain. But now that I’m giving it another try, I’m really loving it. The only thing I feel like it lacks is at least some simple formatting like the ability to make the text bold, italicized and underlined. That’s it. Other than that, I’ll keep using it.
Almost there...
I like how simple the whole interface is! Easy to quickly take down notes and edit them. App is fast and straightforward. However, I think it’s lacking one important feature: FOLDERS. It would be great to have a folders feature to keep notes organized. Visually you can see notes grouped together e.g. notes for work and notes for school. Using tags alone don’t give me that sense of organization. You guys are so close to cracking the best notes app ever. You’re almost there.
If you could add bold, italicization, and underlines that would make it perfect.
