Smart Sleep Coach by Pampers™ Reviews

Not worth the money

Jering337 on

Canada

1st - I didn't get the 7 day free trial. 2nd - the notification settings should allow to choose whether or not you want the notifications to have sound. They don’t have any sound so unless you constantly have your phone in your hand, the notifications are useless. 3rd - I wish they would have more customizations for settings like if my baby wants to sleep in until 8 or 8:30am i should be able to set regular wake up time instead of 7 am as they suggest. And if you could input when you notice sleep cues so the app could tell how long it takes baby to fall asleep after cues detected.

Great app during free trail

I honestly loved this app. During the free trail. Honestly you’re not going to use this app after you’ve successfully sleep trained. I’m a single mom and I WOULD pay for the app if it was a reasonable price. But single mothers / fathers are expected to pay so much for something that’s not useful after your done. Bet you’d have way more customers if it wasn’t either 42$ a month or 150 for a year!!! That’s ridiculous!!

Expensive

I wanted to try this as I’m struggling with my baby’s sleep but being on Maternity leave is already financially difficult, $40 monthly is crazy expensive. I can’t afford it on the peanuts Maternity leave pays me. It’s too bad, I was excited until I saw the price.

Love this app so far, just wish it had one special change

Love learning so much from this app so far, I’ll update once I see improvements with her sleep :). My only thing is I wish it could ask you if this nap was contact, crib or bassinet. We’re struggling with putting our baby down for naps. She has no issues sleeping through the night in the bassinet but during the day, she wakes up the second you transfer her. I’ve tried drowsy, but awake. I’ve tried transfers when they’re limp. I’ve tried starting out in the bassinet and trying to calm that way. All of these worked for 1 nap, and then she realized she got tricked and now cries the second she’s laying flat or senses that she’s being lowered. I know there’s courses about this but I think it would be beneficial to ask the question once a nap was completed so the app can give you tips on how to deal with what happened. So if you put contact nap, then it could ask, did you try to put her down, yes or no. Maybe ask how many attempts if that matters, and then based on the users response, the app could give the right course or lesson in order to help improve that!

Dark Mode, You listened!

ItsCoronaTime6 on

I requested dark mode as a new mom, the lowest brightness was not enough and the light would always draw my babies attention in the dark (and hurt my sleep deprived eyes lol). You got back to me right away saying you were working on it. My LO is now a toddler and his sleep has been a dream to coach with Pampers Smart Sleep. Thank you for listening.

Had to delete

I found your app very frustrating. I’m sure it works for some people but for me when I was trying to put in sleep times the app kept telling me the times could not be imputed and to try again later. I’m trying to fight a baby to go to sleep and get some tips and the app won’t let me do the simplest of things like just put in some times. Sorry found it frustrating to use and had to just delete. Good luck to all the moms out there with babies won’t sleep.

Get the Free Trial

I have a 9 month old baby who was having a lot of difficulty with sleep multiple wake ups every night. I downloaded the free 7 day trial not thinking much of it but figured, I’m sleep deprived nothing is working so I’ll give it a try. To be honest the method of sleep coaching the app gave me was similar to what I have been trying but this gave me the go ahead to pick my baby up and sooth him which for his temperament is needed. Since I started he has been more often than not sleeping through the night. I find the app keeps me accountable which I need. I bought the 1 month but to be honest it’s quite expensive for what it is .. I think the free trial is worth it and probably all you need to start your journey, after that just be consistent with the approach.

Huckleberry is better

This app is so hard to navigate and I found it really frustrating. The nap times were off, just did not work for us. Switched to huckleberry.

Not worth the charge

chrissy_bear1435 on

Seriously if I delete a current entry it won’t allow me to start it again?! Also no live action/widget for the lock screen, yet you’re charging an insane amount for this app.

Not free

Be upfront about your costs. Absolutely ridiculous to have a sleep deprived new parents go through pages of sign up only to offer a trial. Disgusting business practice….
