Title. Incredibly slow, buggy, and after 25 mins of fiddling it still won’t allow rentals from the app.

Avoid at all cost. Most bikes are broken, there’s rarely any empty slots at the destinations even though their app show plenty of room. App feels like a clunky website wrapped in an app skin.

As a tourist, you can’t rent by the minute or the day. They only have annual memberships. Not a great UI Colon you have to verify your email twice, the code doesn’t paste in and is difficult to enter, needs too much information like birthdate, etc

Las ubicaciones de las paradas no cargan fiablemente. Te hecha de la aplicación sin razón y luego tienes que re entrar. Pero para entrar el código que te manda al correo, tienes que tocar cada número antes de entrar el siguiente. Espero que no lo uses cuando tengas prisa.

It’s an excellent app for taking care of connecting all of the personal transportation options in Barcelona but honestly it’s all useless if the app constantly crashes or takes 2 minutes to start up just to unlock a Bicing. I preferred when the Bicing app was just fast and had one purpose. Adding all these other features just made the app slow or crash constantly (on an iPhone 12). Optimize the app for speed and everything should be fine! Use a faster QR code reader. Consider offering NFC integration for bicing! Let’s use technology!

A complete disgrace, much like Bicing itself.

I lost so much time using bici. Many bikes multination including not working brakes! Reporting broken bikes isn’t easy and takes time to change problematic bike. Alway some kind of surprise with them. Such a pity!

Great concept, poor execution. Not sure how the city is evaluating the effectiveness of this system, but it’s about 50% success, 50% pure frustration. Besides the fact that there aren’t enough bikes available, the bikes that are still in port are all out of commission…and worse, this is not reflected in the app. So you go to a station with 5 available bikes, and they’re ALL out of commission. Then, there’s nothing on the app that allows you to report a malfunctioning bike so it can be repaired. And if you get a broken bike, forget about exchanging it, because there’s a 10 minute waiting period, regardless of the circumstances. I had an accident on a bike once and the pedal broke. So I returned it to a bike port and couldn’t report the issue, nor could I check out another one because of the aforementioned waiting period. Also, no one uses the regular bikes, everyones prefers the electric bikes and they only use the regular ones when there are no electric bikes available since they’re out of commission. It is clearly a popular form of transport, but the maintenance is lacking profoundly. I would rather support a public system like this one than a private company, but the lack of attention to the user base is disheartening. I would much rather have sent this complaint directly to management, but as you can guess, there’s no way to do so. Thus a public complaint is the only way to make my voice heard. In summary, a system in serious need of an upgrade with better ways of communicating with its users.

Riding all over the coast in Barcelona and every lot is completely full. There are people waiting around everywhere with their bikes because there’s nowwhere to drop them off.
