If anyone of you have got SpiceJet tickets in advance be careful if your ticket for Luggage allowance shows 30kg to Mumbai They have revised it to 25kgs. From 5th June to 15th July without any notification to ppl who purchased in advance. I travelled by SpiceJet last week and 191 passengers waiting for checkin and only two counters open when I reached airport at 2.15pm - Flight timing was 4pm. They opened the 6 checkin counters when it was nearing boarding time and told passengers 25kg is allowed so everyone panicked as flight time was nearing and ppl did not want to miss the flight most of them paid and moved on. I had 29 on checkin baggage and as per ticket was 30. They asked me to push 3-4 kgs to my hand luggage which I did hesitatingly as my hand luggage allowance would exceed. But they said no one will ask you to pay at the boarding gate. At the boarding gate when I reached they asked me to pay for 7 kgs including my duty free shopping as my hand luggage was 15kgs I had a big argument with them and towards the end did win over them. But 90% of the passengers paid extra 5kgs for check in or paid at the boarding gate. There was not enough supplies of Food & Beverage as whatever we asked for was not available that too on payment basis. The staff were not cooperative at all and refused to give food (on payment basis) to a senior citizen (who wanted to break her fast) as they would serve meals to pre booked passengers first. SpiceJet has operational issues but What a harassment and what way to get money from passengers. Totally unacceptable. I will never travel by this airline in future. Pls be mindful when you guys book your tickets for travel
I had a bad experience with spice jet the staff at the airport thay bluff and sold my confirm ticket to the other passengers and i was travelling with my family and I requested a lot to checkin and the staff simply denied and said sorry we cant help and they issued the ticket by not mention the terminal number and it mentioned NA instead of terminale number and i have to purchase the new ticket of airindia express which cost me 50 thousand for one way and the spice jet dosent have a proper ivr system witch could not connect me to the operator i advise to the other passengers never travel with spice jet
I got my flights cancelled during COVID. They kept account in wallet. After 3 years when tried to check they deleted my account. It took 2 months to get that refund of which they deducted few amount. Now they are not even allowing to signup with my email or number. For the new bookings they didn’t even shared boarding pass even after web checkin. Also no way to connect customer care. On dialing the number no on speaks and it gets disconnected. This is really getting worse with time.
The biggest scammer of this decade is Spicejet airlines. They have been at the top of harassing my wife, a mother of two year old who was travelling alone from delhi to mumbai. This is what she said while Crying, ‘First of all they broke my baby's pram which was the only way to make him travel with ease at the airport and I didn't had to carry him throughout. But they broke it, in their careless handling. I had to get the compensation of the inconvenience caused so i complained and they gave me a form to fill. Which took 30 mins, handling my baby and all the luggage, i had to go through this. Who ever from spicejet airlines is reading this, i need the complete compensation of harassment i had to go through at the airport. Else, i am taking it to consumer court and my husband is from media, he will spread your reality like a wild fire.’
I have been trying to call the customer support since 2 days but not able to connect. The IVR constantly says “All our Cust support exec are busy at the moment” I need to make change to my booking and this is the second time I am facing issues with spice jet. If I didn’t get a resolution in time I will raise a grievance at some other platform.
They allowed u online checking and wait for your while boarding flight for ur handbag weight to make extra money rather than guiding their staff before security No announcement of Change flight , no support. Soon it will be Vanished from Indian Market
We booked flight from Dubai to Madurai We planned to change the date we checked which date how much difference we keep on checked They saying two time checked two modification charge It’s too poor cheating activities We never paid any amount we checking if we change what best price we getting SpiceJet really bad activity don’t eat customer money
I booked ticket on spicejet airlines, the flight was delayed for more than 5 hrs (nothing new with spicejet). I cancelled the booking, they are not refunding the payment done for the seat booking while web checkin. They don’t have anyone who can address the concern. They only give customer relation email to which they will reply sam content everytime, nobody at spicejet is even trying to understand the concern. Their flight service is bad, flight timing is bad, customer relation and service is bad, even management (nodal team) is sitting idle and doing nothing, better to go for other airlines.
