The app is currently a 7/10 and receives meaningful updates more than once a month. The community is an 8/10 and growing. I am a big fan of Ivory and Mastodon but spend much more time on Spoutible. It feels like the internet did before big social and endless grifting and misinformation took over. It’s a great place to spend time.
I have enjoyed using this all to date. The app is better than the web based version also. I’m still not 100% comfortable using it but it took me a long time to figure out Twitter back in the day. I can only hope that there are more users soon and that people give it a chance. 4 star review because it’s great, minus 1 star simply because there’s always room for improvement.

Info says it works on my iPhone, but it definitely doesn’t. On the login screen nothing I type appears in the text boxes, so i can’t enter my details and log in. I’ve been waiting for this app since the early days, so sad i can’t use it ☹️
The site looks great! The mascot is cute. I can use it via a web browser but the app won’t input anything I type. I had to register via web browser and now I can’t even log in either (had to use a web browser to sign up and log in). I think you have a great thing here once the app works as intended since that’s what most people use. Hoping to see that updated soon. That way I can come back and give 5 stars. 💜
It was fine on the browser but the app is next level! I just love it! Many features, no toxicity, no algos to push an agenda. A true town square. Can’t wait for pods! That will take it over the top for me.
The most informative app yet, oh and decent users too
This app is the best social media app that I’ve used that is actually fun, the people are engaging and the developer is responsive. It has features you won’t find anywhere else
I knew the developers were waiting until they felt it was downright perfect before releasing it but wow, I’m impressed. It’s fast, highly intuitive, and a pleasure to use. This app is merely one aspect of a platform that’s positive, inclusive, and so supportive. It’s better than Twitter’s been in a decade.
Spoutible is a warm, friendly community and has been since it launched in February, now the wait for an iOS app is over, and it couldn’t be better, the app is smooth, responsive, and incorporates everything that the desktop has in the native iOS form. This is the answer for people who are sick and tired of the heat and division so many social media sites allow to run rampant. Come join us. We look forward to meeting you.
