I literally CANNOT PAY for a top up, failure after failure!!

The genius at Starhub took away ability to pay via 7-Eleven AND their own website, now I cannot pay because this awful app doesn’t work!

What are people without smartphones even supposed to do now??

Seriously, was this app designed and written by a junior school team? My first app?? 🙈🤮🤡

For the second time StarHub support have told me that I am not logged into their app, and advised me to deleted the app, redownload and login again. Both times the app was logged in on my end. Apparently issues can’t be fixed otherwise. No other account management options exist. Waste of time.

So much emphasis on how you can do things for yourself but when you try to do so it consistently fails. For example over 10 attempts to renew a subscription and all failed so I had to phone. The AI was useless in assisting as it can only cope with super simple enquiries which is not good for a tech company. My advice is just phone them, they have reduced the shops and you need an appointment so just phone your enquiry in don’t bother with the app

This is probably one of the worst app i have come across. One can’t even open the app at all. The loading symbol keep rotating without any progress. I have tried it on different network, different device. A disappointment.

I have tried to use this app a number of times but with no success. I have never used an app that spends longer than a minute on the start screen, then when I do manage to login there are always maintenance issues. This then means I waste even more time by having to contact the starhub call centre. Why does starhub pretend that this app is a time saver? Shambles

### *---- "Deliberately difficult to use"
This app is designed to be difficult to use, particularly when it comes to understand mobile data roaming and the sharing of data between mobiles on the same account. If you get caught with international roaming the charges can be 1000 times higher than if you buy a package. But if you buy a package you still receive sms messages when you travel to subscribe for roaming packages making it highly confusing and difficult to know if you have subscribed or not. In the time it takes to switch on your phone and turn off roaming in a foreign country you may be charged $50 for downloading a couple of Mb of data in the background. Less than a minute. Robbery which is encouraged by a difficult to navigate and difficult to use app. I believe it is designed to be difficult.
And what reasonable company would set a charging structure which can result in “bill shock”? Starhub warns you of potential “bill shock” and then makes it really difficult to avoid. Basically, stealing from unwary or unsavvy customers.

I’m be very disappointed with this app. 
Having bought a roaming package I want to check usage, but you can’t customise usage to appear when you open the app; you have to go through two sets of menus and then wait for the useless ads to disappear or you will click on the wrong option as the reformatting of the ads moves the menu slightly. 
Also I set warnings at S$20 for when I’m over for data usage but in 2 mins I got two warnings together either side of midnight which means I am being billed S$100 for a couple of hours of use in Vietnam because I didn’t check this country was not part of the roaming package in Asia or Global. 
Not easy to use or fair in my opinion.
