Retronyms has partnered with industry giants like Akai Professional and Arturia to create some of the Tabletop-Ready Apps, like iMPC, iMini, and iProphet! Using the Tabletop features of time stretching and pitch shifting, you can slice loops and time stretch them to different tempos and pitches in iMPC Pro. You can also use sliced loops from purchased AudioCopy sound packs inside Gridlock and iMPC Pro. Loops from these sound packs will automatically match the tempo of your sessions.
Tabletop is an audio playground where you can create beats, compose songs, mix live, make mashups with samples from your iPod library, and more... the possibilities are endless. Plug the output of a keyboard into a delay to add an echo, or wire it up to a mixer and adjust the pan. Chain up multiple effects to create new and evolving sounds.

Impc2 crashes the app as soon as a pad is hit when in record mode. The only thing that is included in this update, and it’s broken, how incompetent have you got to be to be able to achieve this? Nearly 12 months to try and correct this bug . Only it didn’t it still exists. How incompetent do you have to be to achieve this level of uselessness.

As old as this app is it is still one of the best on ios in my opinion! As i have tried most of the big name apps on ios . And after spending a lot of money buying various apps over a period of 10 years or so. I still was not satisfied with the results i was achieving. Then I decided to give tabletop another go , as when i 1st bought tabletop i did not have a clue how to use it properly. Well what can i say apart from I’m very happy i took another look at this app, its amazing !!

Absolutely Brilliant

Lots of problems with the app crashing lately. This was a brilliant app to use along with live instruments. Now it's very unreliable. Update needed urgently & I'll consider spending my money with you. Until then, I look forward to you providing reliability again.

Used to be my top drawer app; you could make your sessions as complex or simple as you wanted, great sounds, clear GUI, solid and reliable throughout. Well, that was before. The app is in desperate need of an update. It keeps on crashing on my iPad Pro (iOS 10.2.1). Please don't let musicians down Retronyms...

Apple needs to update the app!

according to Apple anyway. i think this maybe because it isn't 64 bit

Only for serious beat makers.

I feel as though I am maybe being slightly ignorant to the compatibility and update negative reviews of recent. But personally I have no problem with this app. I love it! If you want Analogue Machines, Drum Machines, Synths and stuff available in a frankly amazing and unique 'Tabletop' design this is your only choice. I just wish this was available on Mac and maybe cross compatible with Logic or Ableton. As my title suggests it is only for serious beat makers as such it may be a challenge if you are used to GarageBand and don't understand about certain old school production things. I started using this app from about 16 so it's not rocket science it may just take a bit of time. Seriously though some of the results are just wonderful and it is easy to upload straight to Soundcloud. The in app purchases are well done too. Available if you want a bit extra. I recommend it to music students, producers etc. I hope Retronyms don't abandon this app and keep on updating and improving it. 5/5

Tuff app!Very Good!

Two years and no update that's not a good look! This is a good music app!Very Good! But I don't like the look and presentation! The Retro look May be the point of Retronyms theme! But I don't like the look of TableTop! I think the Tittle/Logo Page is it's best look until you open it and the look it is disappointing! But its function and sounds are very nice and one of the best music making apps on the iPad! I feel it would hold the tittle as number one if it added Audiobus and changed the look more than just slightly! A complete face lift is needed, A more updated Modern Retro Fusion To match its power and the fact that it is a Pro iOS music making tool/app! Very Good App I will try it out some more and hope see it takeover. The in-app purchase makes this app just as expensive as the other DAW's on the iPad if not more. But Retronyms need to update and upgrade the look and design. Keep the logo and redesign everything else because it looks horrible and it is not competing with other apps in the App Store with how it looks and crashes often. Takes up to much CPU...
