Taskade - AI Productivity

Truly who cares about AI agents. Give me something useful. Better mind mapping, better formats, better anything but more AI.

I work with teams across the globe. The only tool that gives us a sense of presence is Taskade. We work across schedules, across timezones, and across languages, and Taskade acts as the perfect bridge for us to connect. The inclusion of their AI assistant is curious and I can't wait to see where they take the idea. The best way I can describe it is Skype meets Notion. There are some things that keep me from giving the team the 5 stars it's so close to earning and that is the disconnect between the brilliance of the desktop and web based apps, and the mobile application. We have yet to figure out how to use the group call feature while still having access to the workspace. A temporary workaround was to use the browser while running the audio in the background, but it is a bit less than ideal. If the team wants to reach me, let's set something up. I'd love to see what their vision of the future of Taskade will be. I bought a lifetime copy of Taskade when it was available to purchase. It is the last note sharing application I will download. It has become my journal, my workspace, my directory, and my everyday portal. It's a must-use for anyone who doesn't like the limitations of notion. It's far from perfect, but it's a strong foundation. Hats off to the team and their hard work. It shows. Keep on building! 🤙🏽

Intuitive, easy to use, easy to selectively collaborate with others. Still learning it’s only been a week or so.

If I could disable the automatic Apple Pencil conversion to text (I want to keep my own writing), this app would be Chef’s Kiss! Perhaps a feature request?

It’s powerful but simple - simple being the key word. All the other powerhouses like Click-up, Asana and Trello have too many unnecessary features. Taskade does it just right, plus it has mind mapping and visual tools which are great for my neurodiverse team members. Would highly highly recommend!

I used to use Notion for both work and personal task and knowledge management. But since my work banned Notion (because some spam mail appeared to be spread from their website) I had to switch to other apps. So far, I’m pretty happy with Taskade as a personal organizer. I like the different ways you can visualize tasks and information in lists, kanban style, mindmaps and org charts. It doesn’t equal Notion’s relational database capabilities, but it is much faster to learn how to use and organize tasks. Notion’s weakness was in setting up tasks. I couldn’t get simple checkboxes to work to indicate a task is complete. It required setting up a formula, but I found it too complicated to do. In Taskade, I have been able to create simple templates with nice custom photo backgrounds for a pleasant visual experience. I created a weekly health habit tracker, to check off daily vitamin and supplement doses, how frequently I do meditation, and keep a sleep quality log. I have also been able to set up a nice vacation planner with a place to note ideas for trips and save links to websites for more information and upload maps and guides. I do wish it could have relational databases like Notion and visual note cards. Hopefully they can add such features in the near future. The best part is that it’s free for personal or business use up to a certain number of users. For my personal use, it’s been very good so far. For work, I had switched to Clickup. It’s very robust for detailed projects with time tracking features, but it lacks the nice visual customization that Notion and Taskade have. I may eventually migrate my work tasks into Taskade once I get the hang of it and figure out a good workflow process.

I played around with both Trello & Taskade. I found Taskade to be much more intuitive and easier to get working with much faster. The features and ease of use make Taskade a real winner, I can’t wait to use it for all of my project management and team building.

I recently switched to Taskade and it’s been a transformational experience for me. I’m a content creator, always finding the best app to capture my thoughts, creative ideas, brainstorming, progress tracking, etc. What I like about is app is their simplicity and modern UI. Organization is my major criteria and it does organize all my note under folder structure and toggle to show and hide them if I want. Overall, strongly recommended to try out Taskade, you will absolutely love it!

It has so many great features. I was bouncing back and forth between a couple of other task list apps but as soon as I saw what Taskade had to offer I knew it was the one I was gonna use.
