Outstanding note keeping app
More complete and well thought out than Apple would ever produce. The interface is so polished and powerful it’s amazing. So many thoughtful touches. I love this app.

I am getting more frustrated with every update: feature bloat, long-term bugs, and an awkward UI for the Mac app. The Mac app is not everyone's priority, but it’s definitely mine. Craft has plenty to offer, and I am fairly heavily invested in it because of that, and I wouldn't be so frustrated by an app that wasn't actually useful. But I am quite disappointed by how it has evolved over the last couple years. For instance, the early 2024 revamp of navigational/organizational features was a ray of hope for the first time in ages … with so many other updates devoted to collaboration and cross-platform features that are meaningless to this user. Unfortunately, the "organizational" update made Craft worse for me in multiple ways. They added complexity without clarity. Inconsistent, odd UI conventions are the biggest theme. Like the almost perfectly undiscoverable way sidebar view toggle between "folder" and "document" mode: no labels and or menu commands, triggered only by clicking on tiny low-contrast cryptic symbols …or by a trackpad swipe?! It's not the worst The app is full of controls and commands like this: novel, "clever" ones that usually aren't in any menu at all (not even a contextual menu). It’s particularly maddening trying to work with notes in a list (so, you know, practically every organizational task). The Mac has had good, standardized UI conventions for list views and item management for decades. The Craft dev team largely ignores them, and just getting a great deal wrong, and the result is a confusing mess.
Well made, thoughtful improvements. Lightweight in all the right ways and truly a Mac-assed app. Terrific product!
Amazing notes app, I use this for work and will be using it when i go back to college this month. Amazing updates, clean UI, and the free version works great for my needs. I'm so excited for the future of this app.
Keep up good work guys
I was using this as my primary notes app for everything (school, work, personal). But after 3 years of updates and new features I have given up because you still cannot resize an image. It makes notes unnecessarily long. It distorts small images because it forces them to be large, and this looks horrible.
This app masters in the design and User experience. I haven’t see a app on the App Store with such extensive feature list also ace on the user interface.
Craft is an interesting app but only semi-useful becasue it still needs the following features - import of emails -clipping/import of web pages or partial web pages -easy importing/embedding other files such as PDF's Evernote and OneNote has had both these for years. I realize Craft is a bit of a different model from them, but the lack of the features imposes severe limits on the usability of the app. By example of a personal project: travel planning. There is no way to import travel confirmations received by email. There is no way to clip travel web info. Highlighting, copying and pasting does not cut it. So as it exists now I cannot even use it to fully plan a trip. I could give further examples in the work context, but I think this gives the picture.
