Teachable online courses

Always had bug issues. Never got fixed. You can’t successfully download your class to view on the go. When you try review offline the downloaded material it buffers and never plays. Defeats the whole purpose of today’s technology. Their tech support basically told me they have abandoned this app and I should rather use their platform through a browser. Poor form of you ask me.

Cannot get passed the log in page. Company won't give any feedback on the issue. 🤷‍♀️

Given that the primary use case for using the iOS app is likely to be someone who wants to watch the videos while on the go (mobile), the lack of iPad support is insulting to students. The app only works in portrait mode and offers and offers the “old school” 1x/2x zoom button. For a company that focuses on education that is not acceptable. I have used many other platforms including PluralSight, Udemy, Packt Subscription and Coursera. This effort is by some distance the worst I have seen. Many of the others have Apple TV apps so that the videos can be enjoyed on a big screen. For Teachable only to have an iPhone app in 2019 is unacceptable.

App crashes when attempting to download any PDF’s within course.

Very happy my purchased content will be there forever for me to use :) P.s. used to have issues accessing it with my iPhone. No problems at all now!!!! Woo hoo!!!

When changing the play speed and pausing the video it constantly reverts back the x1 speed. When you go back to change it the play speed remains set at whichever speed you set it at but still plays at x1 until you “recheck” it.

Bug fixes, where? Since the most recent update for Teachable all of my courses unusable. I cannot access any of my courses. The screen is blank and it never loads. Even after logging out and logging back in the problem is still there.

No keyboard shortcuts work with the app. AirPods can’t pause or play the video. It needs an update that allows the app to keep the videos in full screen and go to next video without shrinking the video down and having to hit full screen again.
