Great info, excerpts from both Beatty books. No ability to highlight or make notes. Wish I had purchased kindle version instead. There’s just a very basic favorite feature for the days reading.

It seems like this app knows me too well and helps me recover from codependency. Thank you
This app has changed the way I start each day. With the reflections, to my own internal processes and how I challenge my ego. It was absolutely the best $6.99 I have spent in 2024, hands down. I love it and it is the first thing I open every morning when I am blessed to take my first breath.
Great content, and a really easy app to use.
I’ve been reading this book in paper form for years now. I’m so grateful that they’re now exists a digital copy so I can have it with me always. No matter what day it is, the insights are on point. Thank you Melody.
It’s nice to have the book on my phone as a quick referral but that’s all it is. There’s the basic ability to bookmark a passage or to share it with a friend but nothing else. A place for a few notes wound be good. Not worth $7. Also, could someone please just rewrite this with gender neutral pronouns (or no pronouns, “gods will” rather than “His will”) for higher power/god. Truly, it’s 2023 & everyone deserves language that doesn’t trip them up & that they don’t have to translate in their heads in order to make it resonate. Recovery is challenging enough.

Its a meeting in my phone and seems to say exactly what I need each time I read it. I discovered scrolling at random through the entries by date when the daily reading isn’t quite what I need and love my new trick. On rough days I read it more than once. A truly wonderful little phone friend.
This book gave me permission to take care of myself and to come out of a lot of dumb thinking. Thank you, God and Melody Beattie!
Love having both the book and the app. I read the book every day and if I happen to forget the app notifies me! It’s also a great resource when traveling, or anywhere during my day to be able to have such wisdom at my fingertips.
