Hard to connect 😮‍💨

Hard to connect

U1000 Dash cam

This app used to work fine now lately it never connects via wifi when you need to change settings or view live cam.Super annoying.Whats going on @thinkware??!! And yes i have the latest firmware installed

App not longer works

Tried to use this to get some footage only to find it now refuses to register the wifi connection, even after restarting the camera, my phone, deleting and reinstalling the app, and the wifi network. My BlackVue camera that is nearly 10 YEARS OLD works perfectly with its app than this Thinkware rubbish that’s less than 3 years old. The camera was also replaced in the first year so, don’t buy Thinkware.

Cannot connect wifi

Cannot connect wifi with iOS 17.4 ! Please fix it !

Useless on iPhone

This is a garbage app and camera. Will not connect to iPhone no matter what I try. Similar experiences as others. Useless!!!

Connection horrible

You have to be physically in the car to use the wifi option, so defeats purpose of using live view in the app. Connection drops out all the time and if you have Apple car play you manually have to join the cam wifi

Keeps losing connection to my iPhone when trying to use

Connects for 5-10seconds and then drops out and can’t reconnect

Connection via wifi or hotspot

Why is it so hard to setup a connection with this unit? Tried so many times to open up a connection via wifi and the unit try’s to setup a hotspot when it fails with wifi and when it finally opens a hotspot connection and says connected the app doesn’t respond.

Do not update to iOS16.3 It is NOT compatible

Junk

Absolute rubbish, both the app and the u1000. Should have stuck with BlackVue, at least they work
