THR Remote

I love the THR 30 unit but the app is completely unusable. It often has problems connecting to the THR and when it does connect, it’s laggy and crashes often. Now I can’t even open the app even after repeatedly reinstalling it. It completely decreases the functionality of an amazing unit. Yamaha please provide us with something useable.

It doesn’t connect to the amp. The phone will connect, so I can play audio from my phone but the remote app won’t connect. This is a major feature of the amp that’s not working because Yamaha famously doesn’t keep their apps up to date.

The app is completely unusable by anyone who must use the screen reader.

The hardware begs for more audio playback options! Speaker is great for guitars but EQ control over bluetooth playback from Spotify would be blessed.

My experience with is app on a 2018 iPad Pro, IOS 15.1 -It sometimes connects, sometimes doesn’t. I haven’t figured out why or how to get it to connect every time. -Drop down menu for “Load, Save, Backup, Restore, closes after about 1 second. There’s no chance to make a selection. This completely defeats the purpose of having a remote app of course.

Unfortunately it crashes whenever I open the app.

App disconnecting and freezing fixed In 14.3. Back to working reliably!

After just a few seconds after connection to the THR10II app freezes Did Forget BT device Uninstalled and reinstalled Installed the latest firmware update (from my PC) Rebooted countless times Result always the same. The app is frozen after 3-5 seconds

Constantly disconnecting since the last upgrade for the amp. I give up on this app and will use pedals. I can't believe the software engineers at Yamaha messed this up. Very disappointed.
