Upgrade ruined it
Are the Developers of this app actually testing their upgrades by trying them before they deploy them? The voice prompt is horrific, it’s a bot voice with a partial melody that starts and then suddenly stops while the bot counts.
I really want to use the app, if the developer reads this can you try use it and get a sense of the user experience before you make upgrades, you’re completely botching the app.
Change in music makes it difficult to use. Previously could easily tell the difference in breathe changes, now near impossible. That was a very useful feature as helped to focus on the sound as a way of concentrating and aligning the mind and breathe.
Subsequently have to watch the screen or close eyes and count, which defeats the purpose of using the app - can do that with the phone timer.
OK Breathing App.
The older melody to tell when to breathe and hold was better. The new melodies make it difficult to distinguish the change besides the subtle inhalation and exhalation.
The end of the breathing session is also jarring. It would be good if there’s a gentler way to ease you back to reality.
