Description
The current paper-based process for the UNJSPF Certificate of Entitlement to prove a retiree’s/beneficiary’s eligibility for continued pension caters to over 70 thousand retirees and beneficiaries located in more than 190 countries. As it uses postal services, the process is very slow and cumbersome.
The App uses facial biometric technology, liveness check and geo-location to submit a Digital Certificate of Entitlement to a secure blockchain. Use of location makes it possible for retirees and beneficiaries paid under the two-track to also use the app.
All user data is stored securely either in the App or in data centres protected by UN Privileges and Immunity. No cloud-based services are used for processing of user information.
The paper-based CE will continue to be an option for the retires/beneficiaries who cannot/ do not want to use the app.

Great Experience using the App.
That was a great experience, last time I was in Islamabad Pakistan for the year 2023. This time I am visiting my daughter and in Missouri, US. Baby
Headache
It tells me to update. I update as requested. Go back to the app which still tells me to update. Won’t budge. I’ll try again another time. Hoping that by than this issue has been solved.
A terrible system
A terrible system, once it works then it does not. How will elderly people work with it? I requested aready to be put back to the manual paper system. Face-id works perfectly on my iPhone. Here you hace to smile and „blink“. Most horrible system I ever worked with.

Most convoluted, inconsistent, illogical and error prone process I’ve ever encountered. Complete waste of huge money for certain. Plus support cost. Impossible to justify!
Annoying application and annoying communication
Unnecessary mails ahead of renewal time. No reasonable error msgs on the app it self.
App does not work
I absolutely agree that this app for facial verification does not work at all!
