El actual proceso en papel para el Certificado de Derecho a Prestación (CE) de la CCPPNU para demostrar el derecho de un jubilado/beneficiario para la pensión continua atiende a más de 70 mil jubilados y beneficiarios ubicados en más de 190 países. Como se usa en los servicios postales, el proceso es muy lento y engorroso.
La aplicación utiliza tecnología biométrica facial, verificación de vida y ubicación geográfica para registrar un CE digital en una blockchain segura. El uso de la ubicación hace posible que los jubilados y beneficiarios adscritos al el “sistema doble” de prestación también utilicen la aplicación.
Todos los datos del usuario se almacena de forma segura en el dispositivo móvil o en centros de datos protegidos por los privilegios e inmunidades de la ONU. No se utilizan servicios basados en la nube para procesar la información del usuario.
El CE en papel seguirá siendo una opción para los jubilados / beneficiarios que no pueden / no quieren usar la aplicación.

Horrible experience. The App was not easy to use. Instructions not helpful. Hours waisted with no use. Only calling the agent next day helped to complete procedure. I am quite experienced and young enough to handle such complexities. I can only imagine what difficulties our older retirees in remote locations may be having these first days of New Year. Happy New Year, anyway!

General remark
So far at 85 I am able to use the DCE with no problem as I still have cognitive ability but aging may bring dementia or Alzheimer’s loss of vision .. is there a special programme for such cases?
