Unread has full VoiceOver coverage. Every screen and every feature is available to users with vision impairments:
• From any screen you can perform a magic tap, a two-finger double tap, to open a menu of options available for that screen.
• When on an article list, there are actions available for each article in the list. After selecting an article, invoke the accessibility rotor and then select “Actions”. There is an action to mark the article read or unread, an action to share the article, and many others.
• Use the VoiceOver escape gesture, a two-finger “Z”, to back out of the current screen.

Feedreader mit bestem UI und kleinen Mängeln
Die App ist sehr gut wenn auch unverschämt teuer als einfacher Reder. Ein nerviger Bug, den die App mit anderen teilt ist das sich die Tastatur Einstellungen immer wieder ändern seit iOS/iPadOS 17.x Beim teilen von Beiträgen erscheint immer wieder eine englische Tastatur, auch wenn diese in den OS Einstellungen nicht ausgewählt ist.
Der schönste RSS Reader
Keine UI die im Weg steht, auf das lesen von Artikeln fokussiert. Die Features sind eingeschränkt und die App ist eher für wenige Artikel gemacht die man auch lesen möchte. Funktioniert für mich perfekt und bin seit Jahren extrem glücklich damit.
Ich habe ein Jahr mit dem Abonnement gehadert
Aber mich dann doch für ein Jahresabonnement entschieden. Der Ablauf des lesen und damit die UX ist perfekt. Nach lange Nutzung von anderen Feedreadern bin ich nun unter iOS und iPadOS glücklich. Auch wenn ich den Jahresbeitrag von 20€ doch als heftig empfinde. Funktionierte tadellos mit TinyTinyRSS und auch der Wechsel auf FreshRSS funktionierte tadellos im Backend. Danke, gute Software Update 9.3.2023 Es gab einen Fehler in FreshRSS, welcher bei dem Update der Feeds in der App zum tragen kam. Hier hat der Entwickler der App wirklich tollen Einsatz gezeigt und sogar bei sich eine Testinstallation mit Docker vorgenommen etc. Er ist nicht nur freundlich und zuvorkommend, sondern auch Beispiel dafür, dass sich auch einmal ein Abonnement bei einer App lohnt und gerechtfertigt ist. Passion for RSS
I absolutely adore this App. It’s beautifully made while still delivering a tone of features. I used to use Unread while it was still with Supertop… since then it just got better!!
Komme mit dem Aufbau nicht klar
Ich komme mit dem seit längerem so „modernen“ minimalistischem Design nicht klar. Ich musste in der App zum Beispiel ewig suchen, bis ich die Einstellungen in der App gefunden habe. Oft wäre halt ein kleines Zahnrad in einer Ecke einfacher zu finden, als überall in der App erstmal diverse Wischgesten testen zu müssen. Vielleicht ist die App ja super, wenn ich alle Möglichkeiten der App kennen würde, aber die werden vermutlich auch irgendwo versteckt sein.
Hervorragend
Da meine bisherige Reader-App Probleme macht, verwende ich nun Unread mit einem Inoreader-Account: Funktioniert tadellos und sieht auch noch gut aus. Noch besser wäre es freilich, würde auch Old Reader unterstützt.
Viele probiert – mein liebster RSS-Reader
Was ich an Unread mag: Intuitive, konsistente Bedienung geht in Fleisch und Blut über: Tippen zum Öffnen. Links wischen für Optionen. Rechts wischen zurück. Eigene Reader-Darstellung: Einheitlich für alle Artikel. Schlicht und schön. Sinnvolle Konfigurationen, z. B. Schriftarten, Größen, Farben, welche Optionen angeboten werden. Anbindung von einzelnen RSS Feeds und Cloud RSS, z. B. Feedly. Entwickler hat schnell reagiert: Auf einen Bug-Report und ein Feature Request.
Dreifach Artikel…??
Zuerst tauchten vor etwa 2 Wochen viele Artikel doppelt auf und jetzt gar dreifach! Was läuft schief?
Bester Feedreader
Ernsthaft, neben Spotify ist Unread die App die ich jeden Tag am meisten verwende. Unread macht verdammt viel richtig und fühlt sich insgesamt sehr gut an. Ich bezahle gern das Abo, auch zusätzlich zur Jahresgebühr von Feedbin, weil Unread einen tollen Lesefluss ermöglicht.
