This app does what it says, straight to the point. However, when viewing Vietnamese RSS feeds, the font looks a bit crumbled as it doesn't support Vietnamese Unicode characters. Would be better if the app supports setting custom fonts or add more support into the app font itself.
I’ve been using Unread for a couple weeks now and it’s great. Awesome UI, clean and readable. And it has Mac and iOS widgets, woohoo! The only feature I miss (from Apple News app) is a History feed/folder, but I’ll figure out a workaround. The free plan is generous, but I subbed to Premium to support the developer. Pricing is very reasonable compared to the mainstream RSS apps, and Unread does everything I need. I emailed a question to the developer and got a prompt, understandable response. I’ve been overwhelmed trying to keep up with news. Unread is the help I needed :)

I’ve been using Unread on iOS for years now and I’m so glad that it made its way to macOS. Best RSS reader out there. I think the Mac version should replace the iPad version. This would be so much better than the current version on iPad.
I'm so happy this is now a MacOS app too, because the iPhone app has been my go-to news source for a while. And the typography and layout is so beautiful, well done!
I have been a free and paid Unread user for at least 4-5 years now. I really like the UI as it fit in really well with the Apple aesthetic. The swipe options/actions are stellar. And I love the level of settings and options. I was so excited to see Unread for Mac. If you like apps like Things3 and Bear, you will love Unread.
First off, great app! The only thing that would put it at 5 stars is if you provided a dark/black theme with the source a shade of gray. Right now all the themes have the source as a red or blue color. I find that when I scroll my feed, my eyes are drawn to the colored fonts and my eyes should be drawn to the article title instead. Thank you again for a great app!
Been using this reader for a few weeks now and nothing comes close. Perfect balance of simplicity and functionality- nothing I'd personally change. Major kudos to the developer
