Swiping is bad UX

Unread is one of the best news/rss apps out there. Stylish. Well designed. Efficient. An equally excellent app for Mac currently in beta too. The designer of the app is very responsive to feedback. It’s great.
This is the best reader app I have found for the iPhone. Please make it available on the Mac!
I’ve been Unread for a while now and it is well worth the subscription. The interface can take a bit of getting used to - left and right swipes will reveal all you need depending on where you are in the app. If there was one request it would be to be able to mute articles/mark them as already read based on keyword strings in the individual item titles. I’m not a fan of endless reports on the Soccer World Cup or the Super Bowl.
I'd been looking for something like this for a while. It's beautiful, and almost perfect. But *please* let reverse the sort order, so that I can read the articles in chronological order! Current, when you get to bottom of an article and drag up, it takes you to the *preceding* one, not the next one! (Hence only 4 stars). But apart from that, perfect.
I've used a fair few RSS readers in my time and each one always seemed to be lacking something, and then I tried Unread; I haven't looked at another reader since and I never will, I promise. But please, please allow me to reverse the sort order to have the older article at the top of the list!
I have been using this app for years now and gestures make it so easy to read through articles at speed. Version 2 has swapped to the subscription model but well worth the £20 per year.
I highly recommend adding font customization. Adding Chinese localization as well.
I am really liking the update. Keyboard control is fantastic. One thing I miss from the old version though is the double tap to mark an item as read. It would also be nice to be able to use the left and right arrow keys to perform what command + W and Enter do at the moment.
This is a great update, which while similar looking brings some very useful new functionality. Well worth the modest subscription fee. Good software is worth paying for!
