Program works - Moral could be better
The program deserves 4 or 5 stars. I have tried a few and its clearly the best. when it only gets 3 stars its because applicants for jobs have to pay to apply for jobs. I am an employer and I find that distasteful, that people with no job in maybe a desperate situation shall pay to apply for a job. That price should be put on the companies. If making a % of 3.000.000 jobs a year is not enough 😉
Paid $800 for work I can’t access
The worst ever- I paid $800 for work and when the person uploaded the work, I couldn’t even access it because Upwork keeps redirecting me to freelance app instead, no way around it. I tried literally everything and can’t even reach a support representative except the stupid chatbot, even their phone number keeps telling you to go the chatbot. Please tell me what was the point of paying $800 for work if I can’t access it and what’s the point of support if there’s no human to help you!!!! Upwork please help the heck out because I’m going to lose my mind.
And don’t tell me I’m doing something wrong because I’ve read several other people had this Robles, including freelancers who lost work because their account kept getting redirected to client and no one could help them fix it. This is utterly unacceptable.

This lady I hired and did nothing and she was a marketer and I am frustrated with Upwork now because I expected that if you hire from this app it will help but this is a trash app man!
Upwork is an absolute abomination of a platform. The user interface is archaic and frustrating, filled with bugs that never seem to get fixed. Job postings are often low-quality and offer laughably low pay, making it nearly impossible for serious professionals to earn a decent living.
The bidding system is utterly broken, reducing talented freelancers to groveling for scraps by constantly underbidding each other. Customer support is a joke—unresponsive, unhelpful, and utterly indifferent to the problems users face. They take a significant cut from freelancers' earnings, which is outrageous given the subpar service they provide.
The platform is saturated with unqualified freelancers, making it a herculean task to find legitimate, high-paying work. Upwork does nothing to ensure quality or fairness, leaving both freelancers and clients dissatisfied and frustrated.
In summary, Upwork is a complete and utter failure, failing to support its users in any meaningful way. It is a colossal waste of time, money, and effort. Avoid it at all costs if you value your sanity and professionalism.

They were a pleasure to work with. Would highly recommend them.
Glitchy app, some dishonest talent
I’ve used Upwork for 3 projects. The messaging feature on the app is useless bc the cursor jumps around. On the app and website, you can’t copy/paste excerpts from messages. It’s all or nothing per message, which is silly.
In terms of talent, never use “manual hours” as there is little-to-no evidence of work performed and you still get charged. I was charged 4 hours for a contractor to “find keywords”? Yeah right. But Upwork still yanked those funds out of escrow. Only 1/3 of contractors work w integrity It’s a mixed bag out there…
ALWAYS use flat rate pay to avoid being ripped off.
Amazing work!
What a pleasure to work with! Easy, well spoken, knowledgable and fixed the problem immediately. Will work with him again and highly recommended!

Wonderful results…
We have more work and plan to schedule again soon.
Thank you so much
Mahruhk is great to work with
I found Mahruhk to be very pleasant to work with on the two projects we did together. She asks good question to avoid misunderstandings leading to time delays.
I’ll be back.
