I have used city bikes in London, Mexico and now Paris. We payed for the 24 hour pass. When the bikes worked, it was fantastic… however bike stations were either empty or bikes there were showing as usable but were beyond repair. This happened at least 60% of the time, forcing us to walk to another bike station on a few occasions. I wonder if they’re in this state because Paris will suddenly have wonderful workable bikes for the Olympics? A lot of frustration and time loss on our trip due to this incredibly below par service.
Keeps on lagging, server connection times out
When I compare this to Santander Cycles, this is the worst user experience and even more expensive

Bikes are broken, electric ones hard to find. Bought a 24 hour EV pass and used it for 12 minutes. I was having to walk 9 of those minutes and they refused me a refund. There are better options out there, DO NOT USE
Code stopped working
Downloaded your app paid for 24hours 1st June 3.37pm. This morning at 10.30am 2nd June my codes are not working? Cannot use Vélib or have to pay again. Not good!! App needs attention!!!!!
Pourrait mieux faire
Ce serait super d’avoir une fonctionnalité ‘nearest station’ depuis l’Apple Watch et de pouvoir connecter son compte Velib’à Strava.. mais je crains que ces fonctionnalités ne soient pas beaucoup demandées.

I was charged £25 for a journey i never made and they never responded to me emails querying it

Add "Only When in Use" for the Location service
It's all superb apart from one thing:
In the Settings / Velib / Location Service, there's either "Never" or "Always". PLEASE ADD "Only When in Use"!!
