Didn’t work
Although I liked the idea of the app - basically an animated skin for Apple Music, it didn’t work on my iPhone 14 Pro Max very well at all. If the first tune even played, subsequent ones wouldn’t, and the app was launching Apple Music in the background and neither were actually playing the song.
The turntable would get stuck partially showing at the top of the screen and I couldn’t drag it back down, or it would scroll to the right, or the record wouldn’t spin or the player arm wouldn’t sit above the record. There were so many bugs, I gave up using the app after a handful of unsuccessful attempts.
I wasn’t a fan of the fact that there wasn’t even a free trial period either - although it was free to download, you had to start a subscription or buy it outright for £29.99 straightaway to even try it out.
There are a number of DJing apps that offer similar features but also allow you to load 2 turntables and mix between them. I realise this app isn’t trying to be like them, but it made me want to use them again.
On a positive note, I loved the ‘Identify Tune’ feature, but the fact I couldn’t even play 2 songs in a row meant I gave up and got a refund. Sorry.

This app is visually amazing and an incredible option for free but would be so much better with Spotify. Please add this Shibab!
App not working after purchase
Purchased this app on Mac with money few years ago and it used to do the job. Now it cannot function anymore because I need further purchase to access the function? So what’s the point of buying this app the first place? What a steal of money!
Would request a refund or membership renewal because this is fraud and cannot be trusted.
The new update ruins this a bit
I can no longer sort music by artist. Can only sort by song, recents, album name or playlist. Not sure how that one was missed but it’s crap not being able to just look up an artist and see all of their albums.

Love the app on the iPhone not sure if I’m missing something on the AppleTV OS 15.2 though. Just says ‘Send music from the Vinyls app on your iOS device to get started’ which I’m guessing is Airplay but then I get no visuals.

Saw this app on the new ios15 update in the UK.. paid my money but the app says pending and not working .. any idea why?

Well that’s £4-99 wasted.
IPad 9.7” Pro with the latest iOS installed and this app flat out doesn’t work!
Open the app and maybe you’ll see the advertised interface, maybe it’ll just quit. Anyway, even if you get the interface it is completely unresponsive.
I will be requesting a refund!

I love the beautiful minimal aesthetic of Vinyls. It’s a well-featured app and a great way to play Apple Music.
