Is Vivid legit ?
As a happy new customer i thought i would make the best of this new fintech designed to be a central app for everything personal finance.
Unfortunately they have decided to hold and keep my initial transfer on hold. These are my savings that they hold somewhere.
While they initially said they would hold these transfer for a maximum of a week, they also said i could get them earlier if i would cooperate and explain where these funds where from.
I understand a respectable financial institution has AML obligations, but Vivid just decided to stop all communication after the initial message.
Now, more than 10days later, and after trying to reach out on all support (chat, linkedin, emails, typeform, phone) : ive never received ANY response. Nothing.
And my money ? Who knows where it is and what they have done with it. A huge part of my life savings is gone.

I am not saying this bank is not good even the customer support aslo. Everything is nice but they are very slow to solve any problem. But I woold love to use this bank in europ for my daily work as well as buying and receiving money from Company.

They closed my account without given the reason, only pointed to the article which says that they always can close your account, so trustable 👎🏻
Furthermore I payed a flight ticket with vivid card, then they closed my account, I have canceled the ticket, the company refund my money to CLOSED account at Vivid, surprisingly Vivid did not rejected transaction (is it legal to accept transactions for closed accounts?) and now my money is gone, Vivid does not respond on my mail and ticket through there website. Such a shame!
Not trustworthy
My account has been banned for a year now, and I couldn't reach out for a human customer serive in the chat for taking out my money for a year!! No one is there in the chat app!! No telephone number!!
My worst bank experience ever, not recommended. Try other banks.

- Search function does not work
- They lie all the time about the actual value of rewards
- Something as simple as logging in often takes ages
- They take money from you for withdrawing
Lousy customer experience
The new terms and conditions are the final push I needed to cancel my account. Trying to do that for 8 days now and customer service “helps” by giving me a lot of reasons why I/they can’t do it now and have to wait and keep trying to cancel it via the app. All makes sense, but in the end I’ve been trying for more than a week now and having to wait for an answer for days. If I get one at all.
And for the review team: just cancel my account and don’t give me a beautifully “personalized” response.

I've been trying to create my account for over a week. “Pending, fingers crossed!” “…normally 5 minutes, take up to 3 days..” Im on day 7 en nothing happens???
Too many issues
The worst banking experience I've ever had. Many small problems with using the card abroad , online, accessing the app, etc. I DON’T RECOMMEND. The only thing that works well is the customer support.
App can't validate residents permits

Helaas geen support desk. Er wordt wel verwezen naar chat functie welke niet blijkt te bestaan. Telefonisch al helemaal niet te bereiken. Op e-mail wordt ook niet gereageerd. Gewoon snel groeien en de back office blijft dan vaak achter. Terwijl men het wel van klanten moet hebben. Dus voorlopig hier niet aan beginnen.
