Delivered wrong place
I am afraid another company that pretends to give customer service. Delivered to an address 250 m away. Never called when delivered. The bot is pointless. Completely. No customer service lie. And when wrote on the app, I get no confirmation, still no reply. No nothing. A disgraceful service. It should get 0 for customer service
Used to be good now just ads
It’s all in the title
Used to be great
So many functions removed from the free app which is now virtually unusable. I would happily pay a reasonable subscription but not the silly price being asked for basic functions that were free and now labelled premium in what is predominantly a user built database. Been using this for years, but now can’t be bothered.
Hero to Zero
Alas, Vivino now charges to scan a wine list. This was the most useful feature, but not useful enough to pay for.
Used to be great
Used to be great. Now I load it up to quickly check a wine on a store and have to click past multiple pop ups, some that don’t even clear and then always bombarded to pay to upgrade. Why would the average person ever want to pay for a wine app? Stop pushing it on users who access the app once a month and you’ll get better ratings.
Adds ruined it
Used to be fantastic, now I rarely use and when I do I hate. Like advertising on a child’s game
Bring Back Tasting Notes
I was a huge supporter of this app, I can owe much of the development in my taste, knowledge and appreciation of wine to it. However, a huge part of this was a summary of tasting notes - it was helpful to blind taste and compare my notes to that of other users to help the development of a young wine tasters nose and palette, notice common characteristics of grapes and aid in detection of notes you may have missed on your first smell/taste. Damn shame it seems this feature is gone - will certainly hinder my enjoyment of the experience.
Constant advertising
I have saved my advertising “preferences” a thousand times. Yet nearly every time I open the app it asks me to reconfirm them. If you simply say okay it gives you over 900 cookies…. So you have to manually go in and say no. That combined with adverts and lack of features available for free users makes it a pain.
