It doesn’t work
I had to leave my car in underground parking to go upstairs and download, and when I came back stairs it still didn’t work. It’s stressful to risk ticket or tow to download the app. When I called the helpline multiple times, no one picked up. The station I used didn’t have a stall number so I couldn’t make the charger turn on by clicking the stall on the app. The process stole 30 minutes of my life and didn’t charge my car.
What’s the point??
I can’t even report when a charger is not working
Buggy App. Not what I expected from one of the world’s largest oil companies.
The app is practically unusable and the UI looks like it was designed by a high school intern. I have yet to get the app to work at all. since it no longer charges your car without some magic activation from within the app, I have not been able to use these chargers.
Shell name on an EV charger = depression
How would I, as an EV driver concerned about the environment, be able to patronize a Shell product with a clean conscience?
Filter by charger type
I use dc fast chargers. But there is no filter option in the app. Or at least I was not able to find how to filter
App is not working
The mall charger now requires this app to use the free charging, except it doesn’t work for the charger. What a waste.
Good company
But people hog the machine. In northridge ca by the amc theater, there are 2 ccs fast chargers and even when people are done charging the car is there for hours. Not fair
Nice, but sadly lacking
Just discovered that 3 malls near me have a total of 24 chargers available. All appear to be free for the first 2 hours. This is great!
Unfortunately, the app is not so great. I tap on add my car and the app freezes. Have to force close the app to continue. Of course, you have to start over.
The app tell you how many and which chargers are available, but when you have 10+ in a mall parking lot it would be awesome to be able to see exactly where they are located in relation to my location. I don’t want to drive to 10 or so locations to try to find the available charger.
Another defunct charging company
Such a shame, the app and chargers used to be so reliable and easy. Now they’re both awful. Never a working charger around and the app is super glitchy. Can’t even search properly. Results list closes as soon as you try to scroll and then the search window can’t be opened again until you force close the app.
Please get more
So grateful for having public free charging stations,, although I had a charging station at my home, I decided to downgrade so I found some apartments that also had charging stations within the apartments but unfortunately they only have two and it’s a number of us who live in the apartments so I started searching around in the area from which the area that I come from. It’s several stations in my new area that I live in now it’s only a few. I’m so grateful for the free charging being that I don’t have my own anymore so just wanted to know that in the 77084 area Houston, Texas could you please please please please think about getting several more within this area do have one or two but of course it’s several hundred people that are in this area being that there’s tons of apartments around it’s more that you have to pay for than what it is for free maybe I’m asking for too much but just wanted to know could you think about it? Thanks again Val you’re awesome.
