I'm using Werdsmith to write (as a hobby) for a long time and I absolutely love the app. It helped me write more than 300.000 words in a year, but for someone that doesn't have writing as their job (and lives in Brazil), paying for a monthly subscription is impossible. A one-time buy for a fraction of the subscription's benefits would be nice (like 20 docs or so).

Pelo preço que cobram faltam coisas básicas. Não há, por exemplo, uma opção de busca no texto, o famoso control+f. Outra coisa crucial para quem escreve é a possibilidade de se criar hipertextos, ou seja, link para outros conteúdos. É isso que diferencia um bloco de notas de um software de escrita. A função ideias e projetos é confusa, não tem uma utilidade clara, não consegui juntar várias ideias em um projeto, nem interliga-los. Pontos positivos: a interface é bem limpa e agradável de trabalhar, mesmo em telas pequenas, e para pessoas já meio cegas, como eu.

O app é sensacional, mas não vejo sentido para uma assinatura se não tem nada de complexo nem muitas atualizações no aplicativo. Ou pelo menos a assinatura poderia ser mais barata. Esse valor não está razoável com o serviço

i know they need money, but it's really hard believe people pay for that, but it would be really interesting let us, at least, choose the "screenplay" or "novel" format for free.

É um bom aplicativo, simples e pratico. Porém, depois de adicionar algumas pastas, as próximas que você quiser adicionar tem que ser compradas. Então há um limite de pastas para serem usadas, e isso atrapalhou o meu desenvolvimento de um livro que tem muitos capítulos.

Definitely needs more features to justify a subscription model, but it’s a really cool app for creative writing. The design is simple, just as it needs to be. I love that each new idea can already be formatted properly from the start. But I miss folder organization and typewriter mode for better focus (if those are functions o couldn’t find them). Also, it’s a bit pricey. I feel like a one time purchase for a good amount would make me happier to invest rather than a steep monthly fee - at least, steep for what’s on offer. Keep working on it, I really loved the app and I’ll give it another try!

Why do I have to pay for this??? The app is free but you can't write more after X files ridiculous
