The app automatically formats your chapters, remembers and suggests your character names and if you’ve got writers block, can even learn your writing style and write the next line of your story for you.
3. Create a writing ritual
Creating a habit of daily writing is a crucial step to becoming a successful writer. Werdsmith helps you choose a time of day that works for you, and will remind you to write.
4. Set a goal
Add a word goal to your project, and we'll show you your progress as you write. We‘ll even show you how many words you've written and how long you've spent writing, and you can track your daily stats in one of our widgets or from the Apple Watch app.

Things you might want to know:
Werdsmith supports iOS devices on iOS 14+ and Macs with an M1 processor or newer.
You can use all of Werdsmith's features for free, but there are limits, for example in the number of projects you can add, the number of writing prompts you can create, or the amount of time you can spend in Novel Mode or using app themes. You can increase or remove these limits by becoming a Werdsmith member. Sync, backup and sharing features are optional, but require a free Werdsmith account.
If you choose to become a member, you’ll be charged through your iTunes account at the end of your one-week free trial period, unless you cancel your membership at least 24 hours before it begins. Your subscription will renew automatically, unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage, upgrade, downgrade or cancel your subscription in the app's Settings or by going to your App Store account settings. Keep in mind that any unused portion of your free trial period is forfeited if you purchase a membership before the end of the trial. Good but a few flaws.
I love this app. I am achieving my writing goals and writing amazing stories. But there is one problem. I don’t have Ghostwriter. It is too much money(In my opinion) It would be great if you lowered the price or made it free(although I know that’s hard sometimes) But if you didn’t want to change the price, you could give more prompts to the people who don’t have Ghostwriter subscriptions.
Overall this is a fantastic app but please could you consider changing the prices. Thank You.

Brilliant and love the stats just one smalls suggestion…
I absolutely love this app and have found it brilliant in helping my writing skills. I love the way ghostwriter helps you get over writer’s block, and have written some very interesting plots because of it. The word goal has given me something to work towards, and has helped me not to give up on longer projects.
There is only one thing I dislike about this app, and that is that there is no way to turn off any stats. For example, the time spent writing stat, for whatever reason, will time my writing time if I forget to clear the app and keep my keyboard on while I’m not using it, so it will say that I have spent much longer writing than I actually have, making it redundant and irritating. Or the words written feature (which I used to dislike but is now growing on me) would be useful to turn on and off if I did not want to see it.
This is only a small complaint, which is why this still a five star review because Werdsmith is the best writing software I have found so far.
And a mild suggestion, which I feel I may be out of place to make, but I would love to be able to see the exact percentage of the way I am to my writing goal. Instead of saying 1%, for example, how about 1.257%, or 1.56% (obviously depending on how much has been a written).
This is unnecessary but my Autistic brain would love it.
Again, I absolutely adore this app and would love it if the developer took some time to consider my suggestions!

So far best books ever that I have made.. I made 100,00 page books, 600 page books, and yeah! Very fun so nice.. until.. I was making a book called STUCK I thought that was me finished for the day. But.. WHY PAY TO DO MORE WRITING? IT MADE ME SO ANGRY.. I LOVE MAKING BOOKS BUT I JUST HAVE TO PAY! Pls get rid of this subscription or I’m deleting the game!

I’ve used Werdsmith since late February/early March and I use it for my warrior cats fanfics! (BTW, I recommend reading the Warriors book series by Erin Hunter!) and it’s kept me content since! Therefore,I say if you’re an ambitious writer like myself and you want to write but not share it in public and don’t know where to start,download Werdsmith!

This app is great when it comes to writing, you can have as many book tabs as you want open, create an account to share your work with others and read others work. You can create drafts, fan fics, newspaper articles many other things you can use as lay outs. Whilst being able to have a ‘ghost writer’ to offer you help when you are writing.
Though you can’t write in a proper book lay out, and write with your device sideways, and have to half of the screen as if you were reading/writing an actual book.
Except for that, I would say this app is great as it offers many useful features. 😁
