I have been receiving emails in my spam inbox that I find horrible! They are trying to get me to respond. I have complained to yahoo many times but they only say that they would automatically realize that I have these spam emails in my spam’s folder and stop them from being sent. That was a lie I did what they said to just leave them in my spam folder and they would automatically remove them. Yeah right!
I send emails to my yahoo account and it doesn’t show up.
After trying everything imaginable, and having to retrieve regular emails which were in my contacts and the failure of obvious spam entering my inbox, I am done with this app. No help from developers, no answer to questions and no improvement. Recommend any other client app.
Too many ads. Only way to get rid of them is paying $5 per month.
I can no longer get all my emails. I have always have been able to in the past. It only goes back a day. I have years of improvement emails I can no longer get. I have tried everything to fix it. I singed out and back in. Then I completely removed the app and reinstalled it and I still have the same issue. Now I need to find a different email system. I have no idea how I’m going to get my history back.
Sooooo much spam in my inbox. I barely use Yahoo anymore because of it. No realistic way to filter it as far as I can see. It certainly doesn’t happen automatically like it does in Outlook. Also, I’m sick to death of this stupid app sending notifications to me that it’s been a while since I logged in. I KNOW THAT and I can’t turn this notification off. There’s so much spam in my inbox I don’t bother. Response to Developer: I don’t believe for one second that you have an anti-spam team. My inbox says otherwise.
Emails are getting blocked even though I have no filters or blocked senders. Nothing is showing up in spam folder either. Called help desk and states issue is with sender and not Yahoo. Anything from Quickbooks senders are getting blocked.
Just purchased this a few days ago, an I have been very satisfied. So much better than just the old yahoo mail app. The one click option is great. So much easier to remove trash and spam. Ya send it away to trash and boom, one click and they’re gone. Helpful for those who may let their trash emails pile up. So much easier to get rid of spam, too. Worth the price which is cheap.
4/12: It’s been an acknowledged that iOS file uploading was removed by mistake, yet is has been 4 weeks without being fixed. Beware if one depends on this capability for example income tax documents! 3/18: Yahoo Mail has served me well for over 20y and the IOS app has performed well for me. Even after Verizon’s takeover. However, the recent version(s) of the app will not allow one to browse for a file to attach. This is a bug I’ve seen on multiple accounts and devices. I’ve seen another review noting the same issue. One can work around the issue by using Apple’s IOS Mail app or going to the website so this is not a problem with the service. The bug will likely be corrected eventually but the main reason for leaving a bad review is that Verzion has made this the only method to communicate issues to customer service (unless one pays for the Yahoo Mail + service to let them know when they have made an error). Please fix the app and more importantly open a channel for your customers to provide feedback and give Verizon visibility to issues in their products.
So bad can’t get verification code not even a phone verification after changing my phone and no customer support you have to pay till you talk to someone I have never seen any app need to pay go get a customer support
