If you refuse to pay them for advertising, they will transfer some of your good reviews in “not recommended” even there are legit. They will say that the software analyzed and automatically do it. It happens not only to me, also other business

They charged me $165 for 13 “leads” (god knows who visited my website 13 times and for what, I got 0 sales out of it). My one and only real customer review got shadow banned and is not showing on my business profile, and when I tried to call them I was waiting on the phone for 2.5 hours and never managed to talk to anybody. Shame on Yelp, terrible way to do business.

I find the app very easy to use and has increased my business.

I've landed 2 for sure decent sz jobs, meaning money it's bringing in and just quality of job... majority of the leads are 100$ plus. Why on gods green earth would anyone pay 100$ and not have a guarantee they are landing the job. I'm on this app to make money not lose money...

I’m a new business owner for pest control, decided to start ads and paying for local services customers will post for.. let’s just say I don’t know how yelp comes up with pricing for local services,, sometimes it’s $23 $30 and now a recent is $73 for a rodent control removal, and no guaranteed to get the job and get charged to message customers.. needs to be charged id you sell job and by sending a message. Won’t be doing that again anytime soon

So far this app is amazing. I’ve been able to navigate through each tab and it has been an easy process. Love it!

Yelp deleted all of my reviews, said my 5 star reviews were “NOT recommended”. They however constantly call me trying to purchase my way to the first page of the search engine. Charging $2.50 per visit I get on my Yelp page. Can you believe that?

I’d have to give Yelp only two stars, because I have a business profile on here. Customers come to me through this app in which I like the leads. The part that’s a problem is that customers write reviews and due to this Yelp “bot” if the bot feels like it a review that was asked for it will take it down. I never ask customers for reviews and I have 8 - 5 star reviews that were taken down. I called customer service and no one can ever tell me why. They always say there’s different data points that the bot picks up. Just taking down real customer reviews can hurt a business. Thankful that customers still call me though through other medias.

I have asked them to stop calling me at least 10 times, and not only have they not stopped, now they call me and hang up as soon as I answer! I know it’s them because I call the number back and it is Yelp. On top of that, I’m pretty sure they use bots for “Leads” that they make you pay for to even respond to, regardless of if the “lead” even responds back to you or is converted. Yelp is a joke and a scam
