Choose any of over thousand freely available ebooks from publishers like Feedbooks, Manybooks or Project Gutenberg. Download ebooks directly from your browser, copy files from other apps or add them with AirDrop. Import files with iCloud Drive, iTunes File Sharing, or from Dropbox, Google Drive, OPDS and Calibre.
READER
The reader's design is carefully crafted for ebooks and offers custom styles for better readability.
Choose your favorite theme, reader mode (day, sepia, night, black), select a preset or custom font size, content layout (page, scroll) and many more options. All settings can be saved as your personal default for each book.
Swipe or tap to go to the next page. You can also use the book's content outline or table of contents to navigate to another chapter.
While reading EPub, Mobi and Kindle books, select text to take notes or highlight favorite sections. Create bookmarks or search inside ebooks to quickly find anything you are looking for.
LIBRARY
Organise your books in an easy to use library.
Manage your library by creating folders or tags to organize your books. Sort your collection either by title, author or drag and drop for a custom order.
You can edit a document's title, author, summary, cover or any other meta data. Save or export your books with all information and annotations in text, markdown or json format.
CLOUD
Yomu's Cloud Library (pro only) stores your books and annotations securely in Apple's iCloud.
Keep all your ebooks safe and at hand on whatever device. Every time you change something on one device, it's synced to all your other devices. Always have the latest version, when you start reading on your iPad and continue on your iPhone on the go.

See your recently read books or highlighted quotes.
Yomu includes widgets to quickly view and open your books and quotes. Add a widget from the gallery and choose a list from the options. Tap on an entry to continue reading where you left off.

Yomu is free to use and includes all basic features.
Every ebook format, theme or setting is available and lets you try out the unrestricted reader. However, the free version has some limitations and does not include certain features.

Ive been using this app as ever since i got an IOs and found it so easy to use with great formatting and easy on the eye display. Love that you could use google drive even to upload, but why was this feature deleted? This makes me so sad as all my files are in GD and it was the most convenient feature they had for me… Idk why its gone on my iphone, but it disappeared suddenly after an update i think. I thought it was a glitch so i deleted and redownloaded it but GD upload option is still not here! I hope you bring it back 😣😣😣😣

the BEST iPad e-reader
I was skeptical to download this app because of the few ratings, so I tried apps with a lot of ratings first. They did not meet my expectations. Yomu has a similar feature with Apple Books wherein you can read a book in two columns during landscape mode. It is also extremely easy to export files, and navigating the app is pretty easy too. I just hope that there are more color options for highlighting.

Just one thing
I'd like the search inside a book to return whole words only. The search currently returns partial words, which introduces a lot of noise when searching short words.
In the book I'm reading, I searched for the character name "Asm" but it also returned results for words like "spasm" and "chasm". Should be whole words only.
favorite book app
i dont really leave reviews on the appstore, but i just had to make an exception for this one. — clean interface, easy to use, minimalist, organized, customizable fonts, font sizes, book descriptions, book titles and book covers! but more than that, the feature that made me buy this app, is the annotation widget. how many of you have read an e-book, highlighted a few lessons and impactful words, only to never get to read them again? the yomu widget that shows me random annotations from all the books i have ever read makes be re-live everything. every lesson, every quote, every moment, every fact, everything! i love u yomu <3 lol
Fantastic UI with a lot of customizability!
I’ve been using this app to read my books and I am in love with how easy it is to use and customize! I love being able to tag my books and sort them into folders. I especially love how compatible it is with so many file formats. I bought the pro version, not just to unlock certain features, but also to support a developer that seems to know what readers really need.
That being said, I do have 2 humble suggestions:
Firstly, I wish I could mark a book as “Finished” (with a timestamp) or be able to sort them into “TBR” and “Reading.” I know that folders could be used that way, but a separate feature would be handy.
Secondly, I wish there was a mode between sepia and dark/night. Currently, there are four modes but two are exactly the same white text on a black background. I wish there was a dark gray mode for when it’s too light at day and too dark at night.
THE BEST BOOK APP
Still one of the best out there! great app investment been using for almost 4yrs, they added new features with every updates, Simple to use with simple interface easy to read without getting distracted with unnecessary interface design, you can organize your books, highlights, underline etc. you can sync books between devices access books thru dropbox etc. KEep it UP Yomu team!
ps. Reviews that are 2yrs old is not relevant anymore this app keeps on improving!
