Yono Lite SBI is Mobile Banking Smart Phone application for SBI Customers in English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Bengali, Odia, Assamese, and Kashmiri languages.
Yono Lite is SBI’s retail internet banking-based application for your smartphones. A safe, convenient, and easy to use application with a host of features to help users manage your finances on the move.
Please complete the one-time registration process to start using the application.
New Registration process:
- A message will be shown on the screen regarding initiating an SMS to +917208871299 from the mobile device for validating user's mobile number. Users has to send this app generated encrypted SMS manually. Users have an option to retry sending SMS to an alternate number 8422833333.
- Click on ‘Proceed’ button and an SMS containing a unique code will be sent from the device to a predefined number. Kindly note that for sending SMS will incur standard SMS charges as per your telecom SMS plan.
- On registration screen, please enter Username and Password and click REGISTER button.
- Accept the Terms & Conditions for registration by selecting the check box and click ‘Ok’ button.
- An activation code will be sent to the registered mobile number. User has to complete the activation by inputting the Activation code in the app.
- User can now login to Yono Lite application.

If I could give negative stars
1-App activation is a pain to the point that as NRI, if I cannot use my account while away, I decided to close my account and transfer all the money to another better bsnk. 2-What the hell is hotlisting !! Just mention in plain simple language, just say , "block card" 3-OTP never comes for NRO account, means you need a local number for NRO account as I was told and NRO means non resident, go figure. 4-Buttons are all over the place, my 12 year old nephew can design better. 5-Instead of making life easier, this app makes life harder. Very low quality development. And for SBI, common sense is nonexistent.
Cannot sign-in
Dear developers, I cannot sign in to my account no matter what. The app takes me back to login page after sending the sms from my registered number. It’s so annoying to manage my account. Thinking of switching to other private banks with better apps and support.
Worst app ever used
I am working in Ireland. I am unable to login to this app because I don’t have my indian sim. It requires to send sms to register this app. What a complication. Sbi app is not at all user friendly.
Developers should understand not everyone is like them. Pls make it simple. Check AIB banking app in Ireland. It is very simple and user friendly
Usability
Hi,
Most of the tile there’s lot of performances issues on the app while loading as well as navigation to other features. Worst part is OTP frequently doesn’t work and struck in a situation where cannot do any transactions. Is any of the support team is looking at this? Any customer care link where I can log a complaint about this
