The OTP sometimes doesn’t work
Worst mobile app ever !! Developer needs to work on OTP authentication , getting OTP after half and hour later!!
This app use to work in USA few years ago not certain what happened it stopped working. I have tried logging in through the app with registered mobile number sent the text it asked me to send but still after entering credentials it doesn’t work. Not sure if the phone number is not of Indian it’s not supported? Is this app supported outside India?
Not even a single SBI app is good. Worst login experience. Improve the login service availability. Always shows the “Technical issue” reason. Next keeping the login active even after closing the app is very very annoying and worst decision. No apps does that way. It unnecessarily delays the login because of your own login service issue. On the whole make the backend service available to give unannoying user experience. Don’t throw confusing error message. If you don’t allow any transfer via Easypin, then just display that on that page. Don’t say that I have exceeded the transaction limit. I haven’t made any transaction. I don’t understand the thought process on blocking transfer via Easypin. Both Easypin and via password login has the same UI interface and both are authenticated and also you have OTP mechanism for security, but then why block the transfer there? Throw approriate warning or informational message, on that page, so, that I don’t waste time on trying to make the transfer. Don’t just say, I have exceeded the transactional limit (I haven’t made any transaction for that day). If you want to block transfer, just say, we don’t allow transfer via EasyPin (though I don’t understand why?). Very very poor design choice, use some good product designer to design the app and throw approriate error|warning|informational messages. Don’t confuse customers. Very very annoying and poor UI|UX. Make the backend service available by adding more servers and don’t throw annoying try again later message. Only in person you guys are giving bad service at least via remote access give better service. Other bank apps provide a way to check if the typed password is correct, but your UI is worst and doesn’t provide any such thing. Redesign the app wit better UI|UX
I’m living outside India and want to login in the app but cannot do that since login require registered mobile number to be in the phone Also having other apps for screen recording or screen controlling, the app will not even pass the home page All steps require an OTP and usually have to wait an entire day for the OTP to be shared
Only way to login is to send an SMS.
I have never been able to get this app to work. It drowns you with captcha and OTP loop that you can never get out of. I don’t think it has been tested for any international scenarios and I am assuming it works within India at the least. There is no support or help when you get stuck. It keeps sending OTP somewhere all the time unnecessarily and will fail you all of a sudden after an hour of wasted time. It is really very sad to see SBI where I have banked for 25 years to be in this state. Reading the comments on the app I think nothing has changed. On the email help line I get very rude responses and have given up on that as well. The ultimate option is to switch banks and SBI tries very hard to push its customers away. As an SBI admirer I feel very sad about its customer service and customer empathy. Very unfortunate truly.
When I write alphanumeric code click on enable button app is crashing reinstall the app issue is not solved
The worst banking apps I’ve come across. I can’t even login. My expectations were already low having seen their web interface but I must say they have even failed to meet a low expectation.
