NEEDS IMPROVEMENT
This app in my opinion is terrible all of the thing I wanted to watch for example till the end of the moon or the legend of ale most of the episodes were VIP I am ver sad about this because I was looking forward to watching these this app definitely needs a lot improving. Maybe I will redown load this when it has been improved but for now I will uninstall it I would not recommend it to anyone please make less things VIP
Next my English subtitles were not there I think this has happened to a lot of people again this area needs improvement

YOUKU International
Started off great but suddenly the english subtitles disappeared and now all I get are chinese subtitles.
I have gone into settings enough times, deleted and reinstalled the App. All to no avail.
Sadly, I will now have to stop my membership until I can sort this out.
Pity, cause I really like YOUKU !
It seemed really good when I opened the app
It looked good when I opened the app and it was however almost every single drama was VIP and some people do not have the opportunity to buy stuff online so as I think VIP is a good way of making profit, not all films have to be VIP
VIP subscription is not true
I have vip membership that finishes 16th April but when i click on dramas that’s says vip it tells me to join vip first. When o click join it says I’m already vip. I recently join good vip but not recognised at all. Either you pay me back my money or resolve this for me. Very annoying.
Disappointing
This is my first ever time writing a review as i am really disappointed with this app. Instead of waiting until they have fully developed the app to include casting and an iPad version. YOUKU rolled out the app hoping to cash in on the popularity of street dance of China. SDC is a show me and my family like to watch together. How are we suppose to do that with a small phone ?! Greedy seems to have come before common sense.
Update: the new update is finally suitable for ipad,making the watching experience so much better…keeping my fingers crossed for the tv app

Thanks so much for listening to your user base. You have added both the features I was hoping for, search function and the ability to cast. So many more dramas to binge watch :)
In-Account App improvements needed
Biggest issue is my subscription has not yet expired but the app doesn’t show me I have a subscription. When trying to buy a new one I get some very wired message in CN that makes no sense when run through translation. I am now neither able to use my subscription nor able to buy a new one.
Anyway, my account doesn’t have any data on it. No name, no email nothing that can help me prove who I am or ask for help from the dev. You really need to improve on Account and security asap.
Also I hope someone to respond and help out with my subscription issue.
YOUKU international
This is a great app with lots of content. I only wish I could cast to my Apple TV from my iPhone. I am sure the developers will soon rectify this as it’s relatively new in UK. A search function would be great so we could find our favourite actors and actresses and films, movies or any shows they are in. I have purchased a yearly membership so I hope I haven’t wasted my money. Whilst waiting for the app to develop I can view some of these shows through other networks that I am subscribed to, on my tv.
I just noticed that there are no English subtitles which is really annoying. I hope the developments are quick.
Great content, poor interface.
Using the Youku app on my phone has no issues at all, but when I try to watch something on my iPad the entire interface is duplicate to that of the iPhone, just bigger and without filling the screen. There is also no horizontal screen viewing on the iPad, meaning that I can only really watch anything on my iPhone.
So despite loving a lot of the content, it’s hard to justify the cost when being limited to watching it on my phone.
Interface on iPad is for a phone
The app is working on iPad but the app interface is as small as a phone one. Sadly it doesn’t fill the tablet screen. Also there is no option to cast to a smart TV. Please improve the app as it could be a fabulous one.
