Breeze: Mental Health

As an app centered around mental health and displaying adhd in the first picture on the App Store… you can imagine my surprise when the app is completely unusable without signing up for their “free trial”. If adhd is one of the first things you put in an advertisement then at least make the app somewhat adhd friendly instead of predatory. I find it disgusting that you will be profiting off who knows how many people who you advertise to help because they and I might not remember to cancel the membership when it stops becoming free. I couldn’t care less how good or backed anything on the app is when it’s locked behind a paywall profiting off peoples disability. There are plenty of free screening tests online by reputable sources for most of these anyway and they don’t prey on the people they advertise to help.

Be very careful with this company. They have made it quite difficult to cancel the subscription that you have to sign up to, to view if app is suitable. If you are charged after trying to cancel, they force you to open a Paypal dispute, knowing it won’t be upheld so they don’t have to refund. This is not a mental health supportive company. Far from it. Headspace is better.

Took money out of my bank when I don’t have a subscription

I did not like this app. It was tricky to log in and difficult to navigate, There are better and certainly cheaper apps available out there that do things just that little bit better, supporting with sleep, mindfulness and mindful parenting etc. Disappointing.

I have ADHD and signed up to this app impulsively and then did not even recall doing so (the condition affects working memory). I explained this to the customer services people and they quickly responded to my email and very kindly refunded the charge, which I’d only become aware of too late when looking at my bank statement. I thought this was very responsible given that the app markets itself to people with ADHD and other conditions where purchases can potentially be made without the full capacity to make the informed decision or retain the information. We call this the ADHD tax and it’s so nice the app owner understood and made a reasonable adjustment for this. Very impresssed.

Charging me for a subscription that I didn’t know existed, 30 dollars for premium for one month? That’s not even the normal amount. The subscription doesn’t show in settings and I can’t refund it

Fine but you have to pay to do the tests

In this app it is very frustrating and difficult to find the option for cancellation your subscription.

They put ads on social media and you sign up for a trial using a link that you will not be able to access again. Cancelling the subscription is a hassle. Unfortunately for me I didn’t even complete the registration process so not only did I not even have an account, my money was still taken. Worse still, they are trying to charge me again this month. Very fraudulent. Avoid at all costs!

Be really careful this company scammed me for £24.00 and I have activated fraud watch on my bank account… I did not activate this service nor did I agree to paying £24.00 per month. I didn’t receive any correspondence from them I only noticed a payment go out and I contacted my bank and them immediately. They said that I had selected this and they sent me a welcome pack which I did not. They are not currently refunding me.
